4. Setup and Installation

This pool light is designed for direct installation into existing 10-inch wet niches without the need for a separate transformer, housing, rings, or gaskets. Ensure your pool has an embedded niche before proceeding.

4.1 Niche Compatibility

The SURAIELEC pool light is compatible with most standard 10-inch large wet niches from major brands:

4.2 Wiring Instructions

The SURAIELEC pool light operates on 120V AC and does not require a transformer. Connect the light's power cord directly to your pool's 120V AC junction box. Ensure all connections are waterproof and comply with electrical codes.

• Brown Wire: Connect to the Line (Hot) wire from your power source (typically Black in North American wiring).
• Blue Wire: Connect to the Neutral wire from your power source (typically White in North American wiring).
• Yellow/Green Wire: Connect to the Ground wire from your power source (typically Green or bare copper in North American wiring).

Note: The product's internal wiring colors (Brown, Blue, Yellow/Green) follow international standards. Refer to the mapping above for North American electrical systems.

4.3 Installation Steps

1. Disconnect Power: Turn off power to the pool lighting circuit at the main breaker. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Niche: Ensure the 10-inch wet niche in your pool wall is clean and free of debris.
3. Route Cable: Feed the light's 100FT power cord through the conduit to the junction box. Leave sufficient slack (approximately 48 inches) at the light fixture end to allow for servicing.
4. Make Electrical Connections: At the junction box, connect the light's wires to the corresponding pool electrical system wires as described in Section 4.2. Use appropriate waterproof connectors.
5. Secure Light in Niche: Carefully place the light fixture into the niche. Ensure the pilot screw (typically at 12 o'clock position) aligns with the niche's corresponding hole. Secure the light using the niche's retaining mechanism.
6. Test Operation: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure and waterproof, restore power at the circuit breaker and test the light's operation.

5. Operating Instructions

The SURAIELEC 10-Inch 120V LED Underwater Pool Light operates as a standard pool light. To turn the light on or off, use the existing pool light switch connected to its circuit.

• Power On: Flip the designated pool light switch to the "ON" position. The light will illuminate with a crisp 6000K cool white glow.
• Power Off: Flip the designated pool light switch to the "OFF" position.

6. Maintenance
