5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- To power on, press the power button located on the handle.
- The vacuum will start in the default power mode. Press the mode selection button to switch between the two available power levels:
- Low Speed Mode: Provides 13 KPa suction and approximately 30 minutes of runtime.
- High Speed Mode: Provides 16 KPa suction and approximately 20 minutes of runtime.
- To power off, press the power button again.
5.2 Cleaning Surfaces
Place the vacuum cleaner flat on the surface you wish to clean (e.g., mattress, pillow, couch). Move the vacuum slowly and steadily across the area. The beating system will agitate the surface, while the strong suction and UV-C light work simultaneously.

5.3 UV-C Light and Ultrasonic Function
The integrated 253.7nm UV-C light activates automatically when the vacuum is in contact with a surface, providing sterilization. The ultrasonic function also operates during cleaning to assist in dislodging particles. Avoid direct exposure of skin and eyes to the UV-C light.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Erlest LP-018 vacuum cleaner.
6.1 Emptying the Dust Bins
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
- Locate the release button for the dust cup. Press the button to unlock and open the dust cup assembly.
- Carefully remove the dust cup and empty its contents into a trash receptacle. The dual collection cup design separates larger debris from fine dust.

6.2 Cleaning Filters and Components
- After emptying the dust, separate the filter components (mesh filter, HEPA filter, filter sponge) from the dust cup.
- Rinse each removable fitting with clean water. Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling and using the vacuum.
- To clean the drum brush, turn the knob on the bottom of the vacuum to open the drum brush cover. Remove the drum brush and clean any tangled hair or debris. Reinsert and close the cover securely.
