Setup and Installation

The iSpring RCC7AK system is designed for under-sink installation and features a patented faucet for easy countertop mounting. Follow these general steps for installation. Refer to the detailed installation guide included in your product packaging for specific instructions and diagrams.

Pre-Installation Checklist:

  • Verify all components are present as per the packing list.
  • Ensure adequate space under the sink for the system and storage tank.
  • Confirm water pressure is within the recommended range (typically 40-80 PSI).
  • Gather necessary tools (e.g., drill, wrench, Teflon tape).

Faucet Installation:

The patented faucet design simplifies installation from above the counter. This eliminates the need to work in cramped spaces under the sink for certain steps.

  1. Drill a hole (1"-1.5" diameter) in the countertop or sink for the faucet.
  2. Insert the faucet stem from the top.
  3. Secure the faucet by lifting and twisting the locking mechanism from below the counter.

System Connection:

Connect the system to your cold water line, drain saddle, and storage tank. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free. The system operates on water pressure and does not require electrical power.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the iSpring RCC7AK system operates automatically to provide purified water. The storage tank fills as water is drawn, ensuring a continuous supply.

Initial Startup:

  1. After installation, slowly open the cold water supply valve to the system.
  2. Open the RO faucet and allow water to flow for at least 20-30 minutes to flush the system and remove any carbon fines. The water may appear cloudy initially; this is normal.
  3. Close the RO faucet and allow the storage tank to fill completely (this may take 2-4 hours depending on water pressure).
  4. Once the tank is full, open the faucet again and drain the tank completely. Repeat this fill and drain cycle 2-3 times to ensure thorough flushing.

Daily Use:

Simply open the dedicated RO faucet to dispense purified water. The system will automatically refill the storage tank as water is used.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance, primarily filter replacement, is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your iSpring RCC7AK system. The transparent first-stage housing allows for easy visual inspection of the sediment filter.

Filter Lifespan Reminder:

The system includes an Automatic Water Filter Lifespan Reminder (Model: AFLT4) to help you keep track of filter replacement schedules. This device will alert you when filters need to be changed.
