Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the dehumidifier and retain this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always connect the dehumidifier to a properly grounded power outlet.
• Do not operate the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Ensure the dehumidifier is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance around the unit.
• Do not use the dehumidifier in areas where flammable gases or liquids are stored.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning, moving, or performing any maintenance.
• Do not immerse the unit, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Keep children and pets away from the dehumidifier during operation.

The control panel features a digital display for real-time humidity indication and touch-sensitive buttons for easy operation. Functions include Power On/Off, Mode Selection, Humidity Setting, Fan Speed, and Timer.

Setup

Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
3. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

Placement

For optimal performance, place the dehumidifier in a central location within the desired area. Ensure proper air circulation around the unit.

• Place the unit on a firm, level floor.
• Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space from walls or furniture to allow for proper airflow.
• Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• The integrated 360-degree wheels allow for easy movement between rooms.

Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard, grounded electrical outlet (220-240V, 50Hz). Ensure the outlet matches the voltage requirements of the unit.

Operating Instructions

Initial Use

1. After plugging in, press the Power button to turn on the unit.
2. The digital display will show the current room humidity level.

Operating Modes

The OKYUK dehumidifier offers two primary operating modes:

• Smart Dehumidification Mode: In this mode, the unit automatically adjusts its operation to maintain a comfortable humidity level (typically between 45-55% RH) based on the ambient conditions. This mode is ideal for general daily use.
• Sleep Mode: Designed for quiet operation, this mode reduces fan speed and noise output to approximately 36 dB, making it suitable for use in bedrooms or other quiet environments. The display lights may dim or turn off in this mode.

Press the Mode button on the control panel to switch between these modes.

Setting Desired Humidity

You can manually set your desired humidity level (e.g., 30% to 50% RH) using the Humidity Setting buttons. The unit will operate until the desired humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

Timer Function

Use the Timer button to set a specific operating duration (e.g., 24 hours). The unit will automatically turn off or on after the set time has elapsed.

Water Tank Management

The dehumidifier features a 2.5-liter water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off to prevent overflow, and an indicator light will illuminate. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.

For continuous drainage, a drain hose (not included) can be connected to the continuous drain port (refer to the diagram in the manual for location) to allow water to flow directly into a floor drain.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your dehumidifier.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency and cause the unit to work harder.

1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
2. Locate the air filter (usually at the back or side of the unit) and gently pull it out.
3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

Draining the Water Tank

Empty the water tank regularly. When the tank is full, the unit will stop operating and indicate that it needs to be emptied.

1. Gently pull out the water tank from the unit.
2. Pour out the collected water.
3. Clean the tank with mild detergent and water if necessary, then rinse thoroughly.
4. Reinsert the empty tank firmly into the unit until it clicks into place.

Storage

If the dehumidifier will not be used for an extended period:

• Unplug the unit and empty the water tank.
• Clean the air filter.
• Allow the unit to dry completely for at least 24 hours in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold or mildew growth.
• Store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
