4. Installation & Setup

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your gas hob. It must be installed by a qualified professional.

4.1 Pre-installation Checks

  • Ensure the installation area has adequate ventilation.
  • Verify that the gas supply type (Natural Gas or LPG) matches the hob's configuration.
  • Confirm the electrical supply (AC 127-240V / 50 Hz or 120V / 60 Hz) is compatible.

4.2 Cut-out Dimensions

The required cut-out dimensions for built-in installation are:

  • Width: 56 cm

4.3 Gas Connection (NG/LPG Conversion)

The hob is initially configured for Natural Gas (NG). If using Bottled Gas (LPG), the nozzles must be replaced using the provided LPG nozzles (30 mbar).

  1. Remove the pre-installed NG nozzles.
  2. Replace with the LPG nozzles (supplied in the package) for the corresponding burner.
  3. Connect the gas hose and install the sealing ring.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to safely operate your IsEasy gas hob.

5.1 Igniting a Burner

The hob features electronic pulse ignition for quick and easy startup.

  1. Push down the control knob for the desired burner.
  2. Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to the 'ON' position while holding it down. You will hear a clicking sound as the igniter sparks.
  3. Once the flame is lit, continue to hold the knob down for a few seconds to allow the flame failure safety device to activate.
  4. Release the knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the process.

5.2 Adjusting the Flame

After ignition, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob between the maximum and minimum settings. Ensure the flame remains stable and does not lift off the burner cap.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Allow the hob to cool completely before cleaning.
