4. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, please verify that all the following items are included:

  • 1 x NCD02 Control Board
  • 1 x NCH02 Control Panel
  • 1 x USB Flash Disk

Note: The product's appearance (new type vs. old type) may be shipped randomly. Both types offer the same core functionality.

5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your NCH02 CNC Motion Controller:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the NCH02 Control Panel, NCD02 Control Board, USB cable, and USB flash disk from the packaging.
  2. Connect Control Board: Connect the NCD02 Control Board to your CNC machine's stepper motor drivers and other necessary components according to your machine's wiring diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Connect Control Panel: Plug the USB cable from the NCH02 Control Panel into the appropriate port on the NCD02 Control Board.
  4. Power On: Connect the power supply to the NCD02 Control Board. The NCH02 Control Panel should power on automatically.
  5. Initial Configuration: Refer to the on-screen menu of the NCH02 Control Panel for initial language settings and basic parameter configurations.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Loading G-Code Files

  1. Prepare your G-code file on the provided USB flash disk.
  2. Insert the USB flash disk into the USB port on the NCH02 Control Panel.
  3. Navigate through the control panel's menu using the directional buttons and the rotary encoder to find the "File" or "Load" option.
  4. Select your desired G-code file from the USB disk. The controller will load the file into its memory.

6.2. Basic Operation

  • Start/Pause: Use the START button to begin program execution and the PAUSE button to temporarily halt it.
  • Reset: The RESET button stops the current operation and resets the controller.
  • Manual Control: Use the directional arrow buttons for manual jogging of the axes. The STEP/CONT/MPG button allows switching between step mode, continuous mode, and Manual Pulse Generator (MPG) mode.
  • Spindle Control: The SPINDLE button controls the spindle motor (on/off, direction, speed, depending on configuration).
  • Page Navigation: Use PAGE↑ and PAGE↓ buttons to navigate through different display screens or menus.
  • Cancel: The CANCEL button is used to exit menus or cancel operations.
