2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, serious injury, or death.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when operating the heater to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. The unit includes a CO alarm, but proper ventilation is crucial.
- Do not operate the heater in enclosed spaces without proper exhaust ventilation.
- Keep flammable materials at a safe distance from the heater and its exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe can become extremely hot.
- Always use the specified fuel type (diesel). Do not use gasoline or other volatile fuels.
- Verify power supply voltage (12V/24V DC or 110V AC) matches the heater's requirements before connection.
- Do not block the air intake or outlet vents.
- Regularly inspect the fuel lines and connections for leaks or damage.
- In case of malfunction or unusual odors, immediately turn off the heater and disconnect the power supply.
- Keep children and pets away from the operating heater.
- The heater is equipped with overheat shutoff (≥536℉), reverse polarity, and overvoltage protection. Do not attempt to bypass these safety features.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your VEVOR diesel heater:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify against the components list in Section 3.1.
- Positioning: Place the heater on a stable, level, non-flammable surface. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
- Exhaust System Installation:
- Connect the exhaust pipe to the heater's exhaust port. Secure it with the provided clamps.
- Install the silencer onto the exhaust pipe if desired.
- Route the exhaust pipe safely outdoors, away from windows, doors, and flammable materials. Use the heat-insulating protective sleeve and clamps where the pipe might contact surfaces or pass through openings.
- Ensure the exhaust pipe is angled downwards slightly to prevent condensation from flowing back into the heater.
- Air Outlet Duct Installation:
- Attach the air outlet duct to the heater's hot air outlet using the quick-connect fittings.
- Direct the hot air duct towards the area to be heated.
- Fuel Filling:
- Unscrew the sealed fuel cap.
- Using the provided funnel, carefully fill the fuel tank with clean diesel fuel. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the fuel cap to prevent spills.
- Power Connection:
- For DC power (12V/24V): Connect the power cable directly to a compatible vehicle battery or power station. Ensure correct polarity.
- For AC power (110V): Connect the power cable to the provided adapter, then plug the adapter into a standard 110V AC outlet.
- CO Alarm (if applicable): Connect the CO detector extension cable if your unit includes a separate CO detector. Position the detector according to its instructions.

5. Operating Instructions
The heater can be controlled via the integrated LCD screen or the remote control.
5.1 Initial Start-up (Priming)
For the first use or after refueling, the fuel pump may need to be primed:
- Turn on the heater.
- The heater will attempt to start. If it fails to ignite after a few attempts, it may be due to air in the fuel line.
- Allow the heater to run through its start-up cycle a few times. The fuel pump will audibly click as it attempts to draw fuel. It may take several minutes for the fuel to reach the combustion chamber.
- Once fuel is supplied, the heater should ignite and begin producing heat.
5.2 Using the LCD Control Panel
The LCD control panel allows direct control of the heater's functions.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (usually integrated with the knob) to turn the heater on or off.
- Temperature Adjustment: Rotate the knob or use the +/- buttons to set the desired temperature (range: 46.4–96.8℉ / 8–36℃). The heater will automatically adjust its output to maintain the set temperature.
- Mode Selection: Some models may offer different modes (e.g., fan mode). Refer to the on-screen prompts or specific button functions for your model.
- Display Information: The LCD screen displays current temperature, set temperature, and operational status.

5.3 Using the Remote Control
The remote control allows convenient operation from a distance of up to 98 feet.
- Power On/Off: Use the designated power button on the remote.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the +/- buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- Preheat Function: The remote can be used to preheat your vehicle or space before entry.
- Ensure the remote control has working batteries and a clear line of sight to the heater's receiver for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your diesel heater.
- Fuel Quality: Always use clean, high-quality diesel fuel. Poor fuel quality can lead to carbon buildup and reduced efficiency.
- Filter Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the air intake filter and fuel filter (if accessible) to ensure unrestricted airflow and fuel supply.
- Exhaust System: Inspect the exhaust pipe and connections for any blockages, leaks, or damage. Ensure the heat-insulating sleeve is intact.
- General Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the heater clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When storing the heater for extended periods, ensure the fuel tank is either completely empty or filled with fresh, stabilized diesel. Store in a dry, protected area.
