1. Product Overview

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Initial Opening and Battery Installation

  1. Open the Emergency Lock Cover: Locate the emergency lock cover on the keypad and push it to reveal the keyhole.
  2. Unlock with Emergency Key: Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it to unlock. Simultaneously, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
  3. Install Batteries: Inside the safe door, locate the battery compartment. Insert 4*AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Program Your Password: With the door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door. The yellow indicator light on the keypad will flash twice.

3.2 Setting User and Master Codes

You can set both a user code and a master code for your safe. Both codes should be 3 to 8 digits long.

Setting the User Code:

  1. With the safe door unlocked and open, press the red reset button inside the door. The yellow light will flash twice.
  2. Enter your desired 3 to 8 digit user code on the keypad.
  3. Press the "#" button to confirm. The yellow light will flash twice, and you will hear two buzzer beeps, indicating successful code setting. If the yellow light flashes three times with three beeps, the code change was not effective; please try again.

Setting the Master Code:

  1. With the safe door unlocked and open, press "00" on the keypad, then press the red reset button inside the door. The yellow light will flash twice.
  2. Enter your desired 3 to 8 digit master code on the keypad.
  3. Press the "#" button to confirm. The yellow light will flash twice, and you will hear two buzzer beeps, indicating successful code setting. If the yellow light flashes three times with three beeps, the code change was not effective; please try again.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Daily Opening

  1. Enter your user code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  2. Press the "#" button. The green light will illuminate.
  3. Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise and pull the door open.

4.2 Silent Mode for Keypad Typing

To prevent others from hearing your password input, you can activate silent mode.

  1. Activate Silent Mode: Press "*" and then "633" on the keypad. The keypad will now operate silently.
  2. Deactivate Silent Mode: Press "*" and then "66" on the keypad. The keypad sounds will be restored.

4.3 Emergency Opening

In case of forgotten code or dead batteries, use the emergency key or external battery box.

Using Emergency Key:

Follow the steps for initial opening (Section 3.1) to use the emergency key to unlock the safe.

Using External Battery Box:

  1. Insert 4*AA batteries into the external battery box.
  2. Plug the external battery box into the socket located at the bottom of the keypad.
  3. Enter your user code and press "#". The green light will illuminate.
  4. Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise and pull the door open.

5. Features and Security

5.1 Robust Construction

The safe is constructed from 42mm extra-thick explosion-proof steel for the door and features 3*20mm high-strength solid locking bolts. Pry-proof concealed hinges further enhance security against forced entry.

5.2 Smart Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system:

  • If three consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, the keypad will lock for 20 seconds, and an alarm will sound.
  • If six consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, the keypad will lock for 300 seconds (5 minutes), and the alarm will sound continuously during this period.

5.3 Fireproof & Waterproof Bag

A basic fireproof and waterproof bag is included to provide additional protection for small valuables such as passports, cash, and important documents in case of fire or water exposure.

5.4 Interior Features

  • Soft Lining: The interior of the safe is fully lined with soft felt to protect your valuables from scratches and damage.
  • Removable Shelf: A removable shelf allows for flexible arrangement of items within the safe, accommodating various sizes of valuables.
  • Intelligent LED Light: An internal LED light turns on when the safe is opened with a valid password, providing clear visibility in dark environments.

6. Installation (Wall or Floor Mounting)

For additional security, the safe can be bolted to a wall or floor.

  1. Step 1: Mark Mounting Holes. Place the safe in your desired location. Use a pencil to mark the mounting holes on the floor or wall through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
  2. Step 2: Drill Holes. Move the safe and drill holes at the marked positions for the expansion bolts (or clamping screws).
  3. Step 3: Insert Expansion Bolts. Put the expansion bolts (included) into the mounting holes. Turn the clamping screw counter-clockwise to separate the bolt.
  4. Step 4: Secure the Safe. Position the safe over the bolts and tighten all screws to ensure the safe is securely mounted.

7. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous operation of the digital keypad. Always use 4*AA alkaline batteries.
  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Key Storage: Store emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe. Do not keep them inside the safe.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Keypad Locked / Alarm Sounding

If the keypad is locked or the alarm is sounding due to incorrect password entries:

  • The keypad will be inaccessible for 20 seconds (after 3 wrong entries) or 5 minutes (after 6 wrong entries).
  • During the keypad locking process, any input is ineffective.
  • To stop the alarm and unlock the keypad, use the emergency key to open the safe and remove the batteries. Reinsert the batteries after a few seconds.

8.2 Safe Not Opening with Code

  • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Use the external battery box if batteries are suspected to be low.
  • Verify that the correct user or master code is being entered.
  • If the code is forgotten, use the emergency key to open the safe and reset the code (refer to Section 3.2).
