Product Overview

The LINGDU V630 is a 3-channel dash cam system designed to provide comprehensive video surveillance for your vehicle. It features a front camera, an in-car cabin camera, and a rear camera, offering wide coverage and high-resolution recording capabilities.

Setup

1. Memory Card Installation

1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
2. Locate the microSD card slot on the main dash cam unit.
3. Insert the provided 64GB microSD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
4. Note: For optimal performance, it is recommended to format the memory card within the dash cam settings upon first use and periodically thereafter.

2. Dash Cam Mounting

The LINGDU V630 is designed for dashboard mounting. Use the provided electrostatic stickers and installation tools kit for secure placement.

1. Clean the desired mounting area on your dashboard or windshield thoroughly to ensure good adhesion.
2. Apply an electrostatic sticker to the chosen area. This helps protect your windshield and allows for easier repositioning.
3. Attach the dash cam mount to the electrostatic sticker.
4. Secure the main dash cam unit onto the mount.
5. Position the cabin camera and rear camera in their respective locations, ensuring clear views and secure attachment. Adjust camera angles as needed (refer to Figure 2 for camera rotation capabilities).

3. Power Connection

1. Connect the 12ft power supply cable to the dash cam's power input port.
2. Plug the car charger end of the cable into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
3. Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your view or interfering with driving controls.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Basic Recording

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on (and power is supplied to the 12V outlet). It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.

• Loop Recording: The dash cam records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 2, or 3-minute segments). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files will be overwritten.

2. Recording Modes

The LINGDU V630 supports multiple recording configurations:

• 3-Channel Mode: Records simultaneously from the Front (4K UHD), Cabin (1080P), and Rear (1080P) cameras.
• Dual Mode: Records simultaneously from the Front (4K UHD) and Rear (1080P) cameras.
• Refer to the dash cam's on-screen menu for switching between recording modes.

3. Smart Voice Control & Voice Notification

Control your dash cam hands-free using voice commands and receive audio notifications for setting changes.

• Speak clearly and directly towards the dash cam for optimal recognition.

4. Emergency Recording

The dash cam provides multiple ways to secure important video footage from being overwritten.

• Automatic Locking (G-sensor): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
• Voice Control: Use the voice command "Lock the Video" to manually protect the current recording.
• Manual Locking: Press the designated "Lock" button on the dash cam to manually protect the current recording.

5. 24 Hours Parking Monitor

When your vehicle is parked, the dash cam can monitor for events, providing security even when you're away. Note: This feature requires a 3-lead hardwire kit with an output current of 2.5A (not included).

• Collision Detection: Upon detecting a collision while parked, the V630 will automatically record and lock one-minute video clips from the front, rear, and inside cameras.
• Time-Lapse Recording: Continuously records at 1 frame per second (1fps) for 24 hours, compressing long periods into short, reviewable videos.

6. Built-in WiFi 6 & Bluetooth Connection (LINGDU App)

Connect your dash cam to your smartphone via the LINGDU app for enhanced control and media management.

1. Download the "LINGDU" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your V630 Dash Cam.
4. Once connected, you can:
   • View live footage from the cameras.
   • Replay recorded videos.
   • Edit video clips.
   • Download videos to your phone.
   • Share recordings.
   • Review recordings via a timeline interface.

7. Built-in GPS Tracking

The V630 dash cam records comprehensive GPS data, allowing for accurate tracking and playback of your vehicle's route and movement.

8. Super Night Vision

• WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): Enhances video clarity in varying light conditions, balancing bright and dark areas.
• IR LEDs: Six infrared lights provide illumination for the cabin camera, enabling clear recording even in complete darkness.
• F1.8 Aperture: A wide aperture allows more light to reach the sensor, improving low-light performance.

Maintenance

1. Memory Card Formatting

Regularly format the microSD card (at least once a month) to ensure stable recording performance and prevent data corruption. This can typically be done through the dash cam's system settings menu.

2. Cleaning the Device

• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam body.
• For camera lenses, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure all ports are free from dust and debris.
