4.2 Wiring Instructions
The switch supports 1-way, 2-way, and 3-way control configurations. Refer to the specific diagram for your desired setup.

Figure 5: Comprehensive wiring diagrams for 1-way, 2-way, and 3-way control setups.
- Disconnect Power: Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before starting any wiring.
- Prepare Wires: Strip approximately 10mm of insulation from the ends of your electrical wires.
- Connect Wires:
- Connect the Live (L) wire from your power source to the "Live wire in & Communication A line" terminal.
- Connect the Neutral (N) wire (if applicable for your region/setup, though this switch primarily uses L and Load).
- Connect the Load wires (to your lights) to the "Live wires out" terminals (L1, L2, etc., depending on the number of gangs).
- For 2-way or 3-way control, connect the "Communication A line" and "Communication B line" between the switches as shown in Figure 5.
- Mount the Switch: Secure the switch into the wall box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is flush with the wall.
- Restore Power: Once all connections are secure and the switch is mounted, restore power at the circuit breaker.
Note: The switch base is round, and the switch size is 86x86x35mm. The installation distance for screws is typically 50mm or 60mm.
5. Operating Instructions
The Wallpad touch switch features a simple and intuitive touch interface.
- Turning On/Off: Gently touch the light icon on the glass panel to toggle the connected light circuit on or off.
- Indicator Lights: The switch has LED indicators. Typically, a green light indicates the circuit is off, and a red light indicates the circuit is on.
- Multi-Way Control: In 2-way or 3-way setups, any connected switch can control the same light circuit.
6. Maintenance
The Wallpad touch switch is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: To clean the glass panel, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check the switch for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
- No User-Serviceable Parts: The internal components of the switch are not user-serviceable. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Wallpad touch switch, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Switch does not respond to touch. | No power to the switch; incorrect wiring; faulty switch. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections according to Section 4. If issues persist, contact support. |
| Lights flicker or do not turn on/off reliably. | Load exceeds switch capacity; incompatible bulb type (e.g., some LED drivers); loose wiring. | Ensure total wattage is below 2000W. Check bulb compatibility. Re-check wiring connections. |
| Indicator light is off or incorrect. | No power; internal fault. | Check power supply. If power is present and light is still incorrect, the switch may be faulty. |
| Multi-way control not working. | Incorrect communication line wiring. | Carefully review Figure 5 for 2-way/3-way wiring. Ensure Communication A and B lines are correctly connected between switches. |
