Setup
Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.
- Carefully open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
Pairing the Remote Control
To connect the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control to your adjustable bed base, follow these steps:
- Locate the LEARN button on your bed's control box. The control box is typically found underneath the bed frame.
- Simultaneously press and hold the HEAD UP button on the remote control and the LEARN button on the control box.
- Continue to hold both buttons until the bed base successfully connects to the remote control. This may be indicated by a light on the control box or a movement from the bed.
- Release both buttons once the connection is established.
Button Functions
- HEAD UP/DOWN: Adjusts the head section of the bed upwards or downwards.
