Setup Guide

1. 1. Battery Installation

   Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid. Insert four (4) C-type batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. 2. Power On

   After installing the batteries, locate the power switch on the back of the trash can lid. Flip the switch to the "ON" position to activate the intelligent sensing mode.

3. 3. Insert Trash Bag

   Lift the top part of the trash can. Place a standard 13-gallon trash bag inside the bin. Secure the trash bag by tying a knot and passing it through the round hole located at the back of the bin to prevent it from slipping.

Operating Instructions

1. 1. Automatic Sensor Operation

   To open the lid automatically, simply wave your hand or bring an object within the sensing distance of 7.9 to 9.8 inches above the sensor area on the lid. The lid will open instantly and close automatically after approximately 5 seconds of inactivity to seal in odors.

2. 2. Manual Open/Close Buttons

   For extended opening or manual control, use the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons located on the lid's control panel. Press "OPEN" to keep the lid open indefinitely, and press "CLOSE" to close it manually.

3. 3. Manual Opening (Power Failure)

   In the event of power failure (e.g., dead batteries), the lid can still be opened manually by gently lifting it using the groove provided on the lid.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the trash can with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure the surface is dry after cleaning. The plastic material is designed to be waterproof and antifouling.

• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the sensor light indicates low power or the lid operation becomes sluggish. Always replace all four C-type batteries at once for optimal performance.
• Odor Control: Regularly empty the trash can and clean the interior to prevent odor buildup. The automatic lid helps contain odors between disposals.
