Setup

Powering the Unit

The SB2006 can be powered using the included AC adapter or its built-in rechargeable battery.

  1. AC Power: Connect the supplied power adapter to the USB-C charging port on the back of the unit and plug the other end into a standard AC wall outlet.
  2. Battery Power: The unit features a 3,600mAh rechargeable battery. For first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. The power indicator will show charging status.

Antenna Setup

For optimal FM reception, extend the swivel telescopic antenna fully. For AM reception, the unit has a built-in antenna, and adjusting the unit's position may improve signal quality.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Use the Function switch on the top of the unit to select "Radio", "AUX/USB", or "Off".
  2. Volume Control: Rotate the "VOLUME" knob on the front left to adjust the audio output level.

AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Set the Function switch to "Radio".
  2. Select either AM or FM band using the band switch.
  3. Rotate the "TUNING" knob on the front right to tune into your desired station. The backlit dial scale will indicate the frequency.
  4. For FM, extend the telescopic antenna for better reception. The "FM ST." indicator will light up when a strong FM stereo signal is received.

Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Set the Function switch to "AUX/USB". The unit will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for "SB2006" in the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select "SB2006" to pair. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow steadily.
  4. You can now stream audio from your device to the SB2006. Use the playback control buttons on the top of the unit (Play/Pause, Skip) or your connected device to control playback.

USB Playback (MP3)

  1. Set the Function switch to "AUX/USB".
  2. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the top of the unit.
  3. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files.
  4. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip, +10) and Program (PROG) button for track management. The 3-digit blue LED display will show track information.

Auxiliary Input

  1. Set the Function switch to "AUX/USB".
  2. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX-in jack on the back of the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  3. Audio from the connected device will now play through the SB2006. Control playback from the external device.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the unit regularly, even if not in constant use.
