3. Safety Information
- Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before installation or maintenance.

4. Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for proper installation of your recessed downlights.
- Prepare the Ceiling: Use the provided cutting template to mark and cut a 1:1 size hole in the ceiling. Ensure the hole size is appropriate for the 4-inch fixture.

- Wire the Junction Box: Open the junction box and remove the appropriate knock-out on the side. Run the power source wiring through the hole. Connect the wires using the provided connectors: typically black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green/bare copper (ground).
Important Note: Some users have reported that the knockouts on the junction box may be too small for standard 3/8" Romex connectors. A step drill or similar tool may be required to enlarge the knockouts. Exercise caution as the aluminum box can be flimsy.
- Connect Light to Junction Box: Connect the light panel's DC connector to the corresponding connector from the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
- Place Junction Box: Tuck the wired junction box into the ceiling through the cut hole.
- Install Downlight: Push up the spring clips on the side of the downlight fixture and insert the light into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the light in place.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

- Power On/Off: Press the ON / OFF buttons.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the Dim Up/Down buttons for fine-tuning brightness from 0.5% to 100%. Fixed brightness levels (100%, 30%, 50%, 10%) are also available. A 0.5% brightness setting is included for very low light needs.
- Color Temperature (CCT) Selection: Choose from 2700K (Warm White), 3000K, 4000K, 5000K (Daylight), and 6000K (Cool White) using the dedicated buttons.

- Point the remote directly at the lights for best response.
- One remote can control multiple lights within its range.
- For environments with multiple recessed lights, using a wall switch to turn them off and on (if off for less than 10 seconds) will allow them to retain their last setting.

- Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the surface of the light with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
