3. Device Layout

Main Unit Components:

• Front Camera Lens: Records the road ahead.
• Cabin Camera Lens: Records the vehicle interior (rotatable 90 degrees).

4. Setup

4.1 Insert MicroSD Card

1. Ensure the dashcam is powered off.

4. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

Note: A high-speed (Class 10 or U3) MicroSD card of at least 32GB is recommended. The device supports up to 256GB. Format the card regularly to ensure optimal performance.

4.2 Mounting the Dashcam

1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dashcam.
2. Attach the adhesive pad to the mounting bracket.
3. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad and firmly press the bracket onto the windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror for an unobstructed view.
4. Slide the main dashcam unit onto the mounted bracket.
5. Adjust the front and cabin camera lenses to cover the desired viewing angles. The cabin camera can rotate 90 degrees, and the main unit can rotate 360 degrees on its mount.

4.3 Connecting Power

1. Connect the car charger to the USB power port on the dashcam.
2. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
3. Route the power cable neatly along the windshield edge and dashboard using the provided cable clips and pry tool to avoid obstructing your view.

4.4 Installing the Rear Camera (Optional)

1. Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield using its adhesive pad, ensuring a clear view of the road behind.
2. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dashcam unit.
3. Route the cable discreetly along the vehicle's headliner and pillars to the front unit.

4.5 GPS Module Installation

The GPS module is integrated into the mounting bracket or provided as a separate unit. Ensure it is connected to the main dashcam unit if separate, and positioned where it has a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Automatic Operation: The dashcam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's engine starts and power is supplied. It will power off automatically when the engine is turned off.
• Manual Operation: Press and hold the Power button to manually turn the dashcam on or off.

5.2 Basic Recording

• Loop Recording: The dashcam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 minutes). When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.
• Emergency Recording: Important video clips can be locked to prevent overwriting.

1. Automatic Locking (G-sensor): The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current video segment.
2. Voice Control: Use the command "Lock the Video" to protect the current recording.
3. Manual Locking: Press the designated "Lock" button on the dashcam to manually protect the current video.

5.3 Parking Monitoring

The 24-hour parking monitor feature provides surveillance even when your vehicle is parked. It requires a 3-lead hardwire kit (not included) with an output current of 2.5A for continuous power supply.

• Collision Detection: If a collision is detected while parked, the V630 will automatically record and lock a one-minute video clip from the front, rear, and inside cameras.
• Time-Lapse Recording: The dashcam can continuously record at a low frame rate (e.g., 1fps) to save storage space and provide extended parking surveillance.

5.4 Wi-Fi and App Control

Connect your dashcam to your smartphone via Wi-Fi for convenient control and access to recordings using the LINGDU app.

1. Download the "LINGDU" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. On the dashcam, enable Wi-Fi (refer to the dashcam's menu settings or use voice control).
3. On your smartphone, connect to the dashcam's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password usually displayed on the dashcam screen).
4. Open the LINGDU app to access features such as live view, video playback, downloading recordings, editing, and sharing.

Note: Live view on your phone from home is not supported. The effective Wi-Fi range is approximately 25 feet (7.6 meters).
