1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: Risk of Fire, Electric Shock, or Injury to Persons.

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always disconnect power to the heater when not in use or before servicing.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return heater to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors. This heater is designed for indoor use only.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations with high moisture. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run electrical wiring under carpeting. Do not cover wiring with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange wiring away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then disconnect power at the circuit breaker.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • This heater must be hardwired to a properly sized current protection circuit breaker in accordance with the (US) National Electric Code and local codes. Professional installation is recommended.
  • The heater is equipped with an overheat protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if it detects overheating. If this occurs, disconnect power to the heater, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, and then restore power. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Ensure the heater is properly grounded.

4. Setup and Installation

IMPORTANT: This 240V hardwired heater must be grounded and hardwired to a properly sized current protection circuit breaker in accordance with the (US) National Electric Code and local codes. A power cord is NOT included. Professional electrician installation is highly recommended.

4.1 Site Selection and Clearance

For effective vertical air flow, locate the heater at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from any walls and at least 6 feet (1.8 meters) away from the floor. Ensure there is more than 13 inches (33 cm) of clearance from the ceiling and more than 24 inches (61 cm) from the wall if wall-mounted.

4.2 Mounting Instructions (Ceiling/Wall Mount)

  1. Step 1: Locate Mounting Point. For effective vertical air flow, locate the heater at least 8 inches from any walls and at least 6 feet from the floor.
  2. Step 2: Secure Mounting Bracket. Locate a ceiling joist or other firm support to mount the heater and point at the desired direction of airflow. Drill two pilot holes off-center for the screws. Install the bracket with the included screws and washers. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
  3. Step 3: Attach Heater to Bracket. Unscrew the small and large knob-screws on both sides of the heater. Lift the heater, align the lower bracket holes with the threaded holes for the large knob-screws on both sides, and tighten.
  4. Step 4: Adjust Heater Angle. Aim the heater horizontally or tilt it by aligning the upper bracket holes with the threaded holes for the small knob-screws on both sides and tighten. The heater can be tilted up to 90 degrees.
  5. Step 5: Adjust Louvers. Adjust the louvers in front of the heater as desired to direct airflow. Do not operate the heater with the front louvers closed.

4.3 Electrical Connection (Hardwired)

A qualified electrician should perform the electrical installation. The heater requires a 240V, 45 Amp dedicated circuit. Ensure all wiring complies with local and national electrical codes. The heater must be properly grounded.

  • Turn off power at the main circuit breaker before beginning any wiring.
  • Connect the heater's wiring to the dedicated 240V circuit.
  • Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
  • Verify proper grounding.
  • Once wiring is complete, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

5.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on or off.
