4.7. Alarm Response

When a sensor is triggered, the system will:

  • Emit a siren sound exceeding 120 dB to deter intruders.
  • Automatically dial pre-set phone numbers.
  • Send alarm messages (SMS) to pre-set phone numbers.
  • Send real-time notifications via the connected mobile app.

The system will automatically attempt to call the next number if a line is busy, ensuring critical alerts are delivered.

5. Maintenance

  • Battery Check: The alarm host has a built-in Lithium-ion battery. Ensure it is charged to maintain operation during power outages. Periodically check the battery status via the display or app.
  • Sensor Batteries: Replace batteries in wireless sensors as needed. Low battery indicators will typically appear on the main panel or app.
  • Cleaning: Clean the touch screen and sensor surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the Tuya or Smart Life app for any available firmware updates for the alarm host to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

IssuePossible CauseSolution
No SMS or calls received upon alarm trigger.
  • SIM card not properly inserted or activated.
  • Insufficient credit on SIM card.
  • Incorrect phone numbers configured in settings.
  • Network issues (4G signal strength).
  • Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted and active.
  • Check SIM card balance and top up if necessary.
  • Verify pre-set phone numbers in the alarm host settings or app.
  • Check 4G signal strength on the panel.
PIR Motion Detectors trigger falsely in high temperatures.PIR sensors can be sensitive to rapid temperature changes or high ambient temperatures, leading to false alarms.
  • Avoid placing PIR sensors in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., heaters, vents).
  • Consider disarming PIR sensors in specific zones during periods of high heat if false alarms persist.
  • Adjust sensitivity settings if available.
App cannot connect to the alarm system via 4G.The app primarily uses WiFi for connection and control. 4G is for alarm notifications (calls/SMS) and as a backup for the panel's internet connection, not direct app control.
  • Ensure the alarm host is connected to a stable 2.4 GHz WiFi network for app functionality.
  • Verify your smartphone has an active internet connection (WiFi or mobile data).
System not responding to remote controls or RFID cards.
  • Low battery in remote control.
  • Remote control or RFID card not properly paired.
  • Interference.
  • Replace remote control batteries.
  • Re-pair the remote control or RFID card according to the manual's pairing instructions.
  • Ensure no strong interference sources are nearby.
