1. Safety Information

Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation. Keep it for future reference.

• This lock is designed for 10mm-12mm toughened glass doors. Ensure your door meets this specification.
• For double glass doors, a ground latch is required for the passive door.
• The gap between two glass doors must be between 4mm and 15mm.
• The lock requires 4x AA alkaline batteries (not included). Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
• Avoid exposing the lock to direct sunlight, rain, or corrosive substances.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the lock yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.

4. Installation

This smart lock is designed for easy, no-drilling installation on 10mm-12mm toughened glass doors. Ensure the glass surface is clean and dry before proceeding.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Mounting Plates: The lock uses high-strength compression clamp system with adhesive plates. Adhere the adhesive firmly to the mounting plates.
2. Mark the Installation Height: Draw a straight line on the glass door at a height of 1.2-1.5 meters from the ground.
3. Attach Mounting Plates: Tear off one side of the adhesive and stick the mounting plate onto the glass door, aligning it with the door edge and the marked line. Repeat for the other side.
4. Install Main Lock Unit: Align and install the main lock unit onto the mounting plate. Open the battery cover and secure it with the corresponding 3 screws.
5. Install Secondary Lock Unit: Take apart the secondary lock cover. Align and install the secondary lock unit onto its mounting plate. Secure it with 4 screws.
6. Insert Batteries: Install 4 AA batteries into the main lock unit. Attach the battery cover.
7. Test Functionality: After installation, test the lock with the initial passcode "123456" followed by '#'.

5. Setup

After successful installation, configure the lock for secure operation.

Initial Passcode:

The default initial passcode is 123456. Press '#' to confirm. It is recommended to change this immediately.

Adding an Administrator Code:

1. Press 0 #.
2. Enter the current admin code (initial is 123456).
3. Press 1.
4. Press 1 again.
5. Enter your new admin code (twice) and confirm with '#'.

Adding an Administrator Card:

1. Press 0 #.
2. Enter the new admin code you set.
3. Press 1.
4. Press 1 again.
5. Input the card by swiping it over the sensor.

Adding User Fingerprints:

1. Press 0 #.
2. Enter the new admin code you set.
3. Press 2.
4. Press 1.
5. Place the user's finger on the sensor 6 times as prompted.

6. Operating Instructions

The MSR605 BOLI-TY-B01 lock offers multiple ways to secure and access your glass door.

Unlocking Methods:

• Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the sensor for quick access.
• IC Card: Swipe a registered IC card over the designated area.
• Passcode: Enter your 6-10 digit passcode on the keypad, followed by '#'. The anti-peep function allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual code for added security.
• Mobile App (Tuya Bluetooth): Use the Tuya Bluetooth App on your smartphone to unlock the door. A Wi-Fi bridge is required for real-time remote unlocking.
• Physical Key: In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided physical key to unlock the door.

App Control Features:

• Real-time Entry Logs: Track employee attendance and monitor access history directly from the Tuya Bluetooth App.
• Temporary Codes: Generate time-sensitive temporary codes for visitors or deliveries. These codes expire automatically, enhancing security.

Passage Mode:

Activate the "Always Open" passage mode for unrestricted access during specific hours. The lock will automatically revert to auto-lock security after the set period.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your smart lock.

Battery Replacement:

• The lock features a low-battery alarm to notify you when batteries need replacement.
• To replace, remove the battery cover on the main lock unit, replace the 4 AA alkaline batteries, and reattach the cover. Refer to Video 1: Installation Guide for visual instructions on accessing the battery compartment.

Emergency Power:

In case of complete battery depletion, a hidden USB-C emergency power port is available to temporarily power the lock for access.

Cleaning:

Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MSR605 BOLI-TY-B01 smart lock, refer to the following common solutions:

• Lock not responding: Check battery levels. Use the USB-C emergency power port if batteries are completely drained.
• Fingerprint/Card not recognized: Ensure your finger/card is clean and properly placed on the sensor. Re-register if necessary.
• Passcode issues: Verify the correct passcode is entered. Remember the anti-peep function allows extra digits before/after the actual code.
• Lock/Unlock inconsistency: Ensure the lock is properly aligned on the door. Check for any obstructions. If issues persist, a factory reset may be required.

Factory Reset:

To return the lock to its factory default settings, press and hold the reset button on the back of the main lock unit for 15 seconds until you hear a series of 'du du du' sounds. This will erase all registered users and settings.
