Safety Information

WARNING:

• Always ensure the carport is properly anchored to the ground to prevent it from being blown away by strong winds.

• It is strongly recommended that a team of at least three people carry out the installation of this product in a safe manner.
• During the installation process, it is essential to wear gloves to prevent scratches from parts and sharp edges.
• Make sure to keep children and pets at a safe distance during assembly.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Part Identification

Carefully unpack all components and verify against the parts list provided in your package. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Please note that multiple packages might arrive at different times. Kindly remain patient and wait.

2. Framework Assembly

Begin by assembling the framework sections. The carport features a heavy-duty galvanized steel frame designed for stability. Connect the curved roof arches to the vertical support posts using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.

3. Base Section Installation

Install the base sections, connecting the bottom horizontal bars. These bars provide additional stability to the overall structure. Secure them firmly with the provided screws.

4. Roof Section Installation

Attach the galvanized steel roof panels. It is crucial to install the roof panels starting from the bottom and overlapping them correctly to ensure proper water drainage and prevent leaks. Secure each panel with the designated screws.

5. Support Bracket Section

Install the support brackets to further reinforce the structure. These brackets enhance the carport's ability to withstand external forces.

6. Ground Anchoring

Utilize the provided ground anchors to secure the carport firmly to the ground. This is a critical step for stability, especially in windy conditions. The base plates are designed to be bolted down into concrete or ground.

7. Side and Front Panel Installation (Optional)

The carport includes side and front panels made of durable, waterproof material. These panels attach to the frame using Velcro straps and can be easily removed or rolled up. The front panel features a zipper for easy access.

Operating

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan of your carport and ensure its continued performance.

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the roof and side panels with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Anchoring Check: Regularly inspect the ground anchors to ensure they remain secure, especially after strong winds or heavy precipitation.
• Rust Prevention: The galvanized steel frame is designed to resist rust. However, if any scratches or damage expose bare metal, promptly apply rust-inhibiting paint to prevent corrosion.
• Waterproofing: For enhanced waterproofing, especially at roof panel seams, apply the provided waterproof tape or a suitable sealant.
• Rubber Strips: Non-abrasive rubber strips are included for roof-edge protection, preventing cuts and extending lifespan. Ensure these are properly installed and maintained.

Troubleshooting

• Leaks: If leaks occur, check the overlap of the roof panels. Ensure they are correctly installed to allow water to drain over, not through, the seams. Apply additional waterproof tape or sealant to any problematic areas.
• Instability: If the carport feels unstable, re-check all frame connections and ensure the ground anchors are fully secured. In areas with very soft ground, consider additional anchoring solutions.
• Missing Parts: If any parts are missing upon delivery, contact LZBEITEM customer service immediately for assistance.
