5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the thermostat and its sensor from the packaging.
- Connect Sensor: Ensure the temperature sensor is securely plugged into the designated port on the thermostat.
- Placement: Position the temperature sensor in the area where you wish to monitor and control the temperature. Ensure it is not directly exposed to heat sources or drafts that could skew readings.
- Plug In: Insert the thermostat into a standard EU wall socket. The display will illuminate.
- Connect Appliance: Plug your heating or cooling appliance into the socket on the front of the thermostat.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Button Functions
- MODE: Press to cycle through different operating modes (e.g., Heating, Cooling, Timing modes).
- SET: Press to enter setting mode for parameters like start/stop temperature or timer settings. Press again to confirm settings.
- UP (▲): Increases values or navigates up in menus.
- DOWN (▼): Decreases values or navigates down in menus.
6.2 Heating & Cooling Mode
This mode allows the thermostat to automatically turn your appliance ON or OFF to maintain a desired temperature range.
- Press the MODE button until the display shows the desired temperature control mode (e.g., 'Heating' or 'Cooling' indicator).
- Press the SET button. The 'Start Temperature' will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust the temperature at which the appliance should turn ON. Press SET to confirm.
- The 'Stop Temperature' will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust the temperature at which the appliance should turn OFF. Press SET to confirm.
- The thermostat will now operate according to your set temperatures.

6.3 Timing Function
The thermostat offers several timing modes for scheduled operation:
- F01: Cycle Timer Mode: Set an ON duration and an OFF duration for repetitive cycling.
- F02: Countdown ON Mode: The appliance will turn ON after a set countdown period.
- F03: Countdown OFF Mode: The appliance will turn OFF after a set countdown period.
- F04: Countdown ON and Countdown OFF Mode: Combines F02 and F03 for a single ON/OFF cycle after specified countdowns.
To set a timing function:
- Press the MODE button until the display shows the desired timing mode (F01-F04).
- Press the SET button. The relevant time parameter (hours/minutes) will flash.
- Use UP/DOWN to adjust the time. Press SET to confirm each parameter.
- Once all parameters are set, the timer will begin.
6.4 Temperature Unit Conversion
To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉), press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the unit changes on the display.
6.5 Backlit LCD
The display features a backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions. The backlight will typically activate when buttons are pressed and may dim or turn off after a period of inactivity to save power.
