This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Lenovo Wireless Stereo Headset (Model 4XD1Q30302). This headset features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, multipoint pairing, and a noise-cancelling microphone for clear communication. 1. Setup
1.1 Package Contents
Verify that the following items are included in your package:
- Lenovo Wireless Stereo Headset
- Charging Cable
- USB Dongle (if included with your specific model)
- Quick Start Guide (this manual)
1.2 Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge the headset. A full charge takes less than 2 hours.
- Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- The Power/Pair LED indicator will show charging status. It typically turns solid red while charging and off when fully charged.

1.3 Powering On/Off
- To power on: Slide the Power/Pair switch to the "On" position. The LED indicator will light up.
- To power off: Slide the Power/Pair switch to the "Off" position. The LED indicator will turn off.
1.4 Bluetooth Pairing
The headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint connection, allowing simultaneous connection to two devices.
- Initial Pairing:
- With the headset powered off, slide the Power/Pair switch to the "On" position and hold it until the Power/Pair LED flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, computer, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- Select "Lenovo Wireless Stereo Headset" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue periodically.
- Multipoint Pairing (Second Device):
- After pairing with the first device, put the headset back into pairing mode by sliding and holding the Power/Pair switch until the LED flashes blue and red again.
- On your second device, enable Bluetooth and select "Lenovo Wireless Stereo Headset".
- The headset will now be connected to both devices.
The headset can also connect via the supplied USB dongle. Plug the dongle into a USB port on your computer. The headset should automatically connect to the dongle if it's powered on and not actively in Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Controls Overview

- Volume Up/Down: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the earcup to adjust audio volume.
- Mute Button: Press the mute button to mute or unmute the microphone. The Mute Status LED indicator on the mic boom will illuminate when muted.
- Mic Boom: Flipping the mic boom up will quickly mute the microphone. Flipping it down will unmute.
- Hook Button: Used for call management (answer/end calls).
- Power/Pair Switch: Powers the headset on/off and initiates Bluetooth pairing mode.
2.2 Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Hook button.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Hook button for 2 seconds.
- Mute/Unmute Microphone: Press the Mute button or flip the mic boom up/down.
2.3 Audio Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Hook button once.
- Next Track: Double-press the Hook button.
- Previous Track: Triple-press the Hook button.
2.4 Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC)
The headset features a three-microphone system for Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to ensure clear voice pickup during calls by suppressing background noise.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene:
- Wipe the headset with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
- Keep the charging port free of dust and debris.
3.2 Earcup Replacement

4. Troubleshooting
4.1 No Power
- Ensure the headset is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and check the charging LED.
- Verify the Power/Pair switch is in the "On" position.
4.2 Cannot Pair with Device
- Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (LED flashing blue and red).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is discoverable.
