Connection Methods

The SKYANS Portable CD Player offers two primary connection methods to your car's audio system or other devices:

1. USB Connection (for compatible car stereos)

This method is suitable for car stereos that support playing WAV/MP3 audio files via a USB data port.

  1. Connect the USB port of the CD player directly to the stereo USB data port of your car.
  2. The car stereo should automatically recognize the device and begin playing music from the disc.
  3. If automatic recognition does not occur, navigate to the USB playback interface on your car's screen and select the USB icon to initiate playback.

Note: The operation and interface may vary depending on your car model. Ensure your car stereo supports WAV/MP3 file playback via USB.

2. AUX Audio Cable Connection (for broader compatibility)

This method is compatible with most car stereos and other audio devices that have an AUX input.

  1. Connect the USB end of the CD player to a car USB port or a USB power adapter to power the device.
  2. Use the provided AUX audio cable to connect the AUX port of the CD player to the AUX input port of your car stereo or external speaker.
  3. Select AUX mode on your car's screen or external device to play songs from the CD.

Note: The remote control functions only when using headphones or an AUX audio cable connection. It does not function with a direct USB data connection to a car stereo.

Controlling Playback

  • Via Car Stereo: When connected via USB, playback controls (play, pause, skip tracks, volume) are typically managed through your car's built-in interface or steering wheel controls.
  • Via Remote Control: When connected via AUX or headphones, use the provided remote control to adjust volume, switch tracks, and control playback.

  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
