Setup and Installation

The Lian Li UNI Fan SL Wireless system is designed for easy installation and cable management. Follow these steps for proper setup.

Wireless Controller Requirement

The wireless controller is essential to operate the Uni Fan wireless version. Please note that the single pack does not include a controller and must be purchased separately. Both the 3-Pack and PW24-1W-T come with a controller. Additionally, the 3-Pack package provides a PWM 1-to-3 cable for convenient connectivity.

Daisy-Chain Mechanism

The UNIFAN interlocking system allows for ease of cable management and a slide-in daisy-chaining mechanism for easy configuration, securely holding the fans in place.

L-Connect 3 Software Setup

Operating Instructions

Utilize the L-Connect 3 software and the wireless signal for comprehensive control over your fans' performance and aesthetics.

Wireless Signal and RGB Control

The 2.4 GHz wireless signal enables seamless RGB and fan control. Customize your system’s style by uploading personalized MP4, GIF, JPG, or PNG files (for LCD versions). The 40 LEDs can be customized with various lighting effects, creating stunning illumination.

Fan Speed and Monitoring

The L-Connect 3 software allows you to set different fan speeds for each fan cluster. Monitor the temperature and loading of your CPU and GPU directly through the software. Fan speeds can reach up to 1900 RPM for the LCD version and 2000 RPM for the LED version.

If you encounter issues with your UNI Fan SL Wireless, refer to the common problems and solutions below.

Common Issues & Solutions

• Fan Flickering White Light on Startup: If the motherboard's 4-pin PWM ports' power is insufficient (below 1A) and the fan shows a flickering white light upon startup, this indicates unstable power from the motherboard. In this case, connect the cable to a different 4-pin PWM port on the motherboard or use the included 12V to SATA adapter from the triple-pack.
• Wireless Controller Not Detected: Ensure the L-Wireless Controller is securely plugged into a USB port on your motherboard or rear I/O. Verify that the L-Connect 3 software is up-to-date.
• Strimmer Wireless Not Functioning: A wireless controller is required for the Strimmer Wireless series. Only model #PW24-1W-T includes a controller; others are sold separately. If you have the UNI FAN Triple Pack, you can use that controller.
