Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps to safely jump start your vehicle:
- Connect Jump Starter: Insert the smart jumper cables into the jump starter's designated port. Ensure a secure connection.
- Connect Jumper Cables to Battery: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's dead battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure the clamps make good contact with the battery terminals.
- Check Indicator: The smart jumper cable unit will show an indicator light. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and that the unit is ready to jump start. If a red light or blinking light appears, refer to the troubleshooting section.
- Start Car Engine: Once the green light is solid, return to your vehicle and start the engine.
- Remove Cables: After the engine starts, immediately remove the jumper cables from the vehicle battery, first the black clamp, then the red clamp. Then disconnect the cables from the jump starter.
