Product Overview
Studio-Grade Sound Quality
The AWM25T features omnidirectional pickup, ensuring clear and natural sound capture from all directions. With a 32kHz/16bit audio format, it delivers accurate, high-quality recordings. A 70dB signal-to-noise ratio minimizes background noise, providing clean, detailed audio. It can handle a maximum 125dB sound pressure level, preventing distortion even in loud environments.

Smart Noise Reduction & Mute Control
Utilizing ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) technology, this microphone effectively filters out ambient background noise, such as traffic, for crystal-clear sound. The included furry windshields further assist in reducing wind noise during outdoor use. The transmitter also features a mute function for added control during recordings.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your NearStream AWM25T microphone, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the microphone and charging case. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the microphone system in its charging case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage. Keep it in a cool, dry place.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, ensure the charging case and transmitters have some charge (around 50%) to prevent battery degradation. Recharge periodically if stored for extended periods.
- Windshields: Clean the furry windshields gently with a soft brush if they become dirty.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AWM25T microphone, refer to the following common solutions:
- Microphone not working with Android device: If the microphone does not seem to work, try turning down the volume on your Android phone. Some Android devices may require the phone's volume to be lowered for the external microphone to function correctly. Also, check your phone's settings for an "OTG" option and enable it if available.
- No sound or low volume: Ensure the receiver is fully plugged into your device. Check that the transmitter is powered on (green light) and not muted (no red light). Verify that your recording app is configured to use the external microphone.
- Poor sound quality/excessive background noise: Ensure noise reduction is enabled (green light on transmitter). If recording outdoors, attach the furry windshields. If recording raw audio, ensure noise reduction is intentionally off (yellow light).
- Microphone not pairing: The system is pre-paired. Ensure both transmitter(s) and receiver are powered on. If issues persist, try powering off and on both units.
- Charging issues: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and a power source. Check the LED indicators on the charging case to confirm charging status.
- Mute function not working: Double-check that you are double-clicking the power button to toggle mute. If the red light does not appear, the mute function may not be active.
