Setup

1. Installing Batteries

To install the batteries, gently twist the top section of the grinder counter-clockwise to unlock and remove the battery compartment cover. Insert 4 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings inside the compartment. Replace the cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

2. Filling the Grinder

Rotate the transparent spice container counter-clockwise to detach it from the motor unit. Fill the container with your desired dry salt crystals or whole peppercorns. Do not overfill. Reattach the spice container by aligning it with the motor unit and twisting clockwise until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions

1. One-Touch Grinding

To operate the grinder, simply press and hold the button located on the top of the unit. The grinding mechanism will activate, and the LED light will illuminate, allowing you to see the amount of spice being dispensed. Release the button to stop grinding.

2. Adjusting Coarseness

The grinder features 5 adjustable coarseness levels. To change the grind size, locate the adjustment knob at the bottom of the grinder. Rotate the knob clockwise for a finer grind or counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. Experiment to find your preferred setting.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Grinder

To ensure optimal performance and prevent clogging, regularly clean the grinding mechanism. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any residual spice particles from the ceramic blades and surrounding areas. The exterior can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the grinder in water.

Troubleshooting

• Grinder not operating: Check if batteries are inserted correctly with the right polarity. Ensure batteries are not depleted and replace if necessary.
• Grinding slowly or inconsistently: The grinding mechanism might be clogged. Use the cleaning brush to clear any blockages. Ensure the spice container is not overfilled.
• LED light not working: Check battery levels. If the grinder operates but the light does not, contact customer support.
• Spice not dispensing: Ensure the spice container is securely attached and the adjustment knob is not set to the tightest (finest) setting, which might prevent dispensing if clogged.
