1.1 Unboxing and Component Identification

1.2 Water Tank Installation and Filling
The machine features a removable 0.74-gallon (2.8L) transparent water tank for easy refilling. Ensure the tank is clean before filling.
- Lift the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' level indicated.
- Carefully place the water tank back into its position, ensuring it is securely seated.

1.3 Coffee Bean Hopper
The integrated conical burr grinder has a hopper for whole coffee beans. Lift the lid and pour fresh coffee beans into the hopper.

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Power On and Preheating
Press the power button to turn on the machine. The machine will enter a preheating phase, typically taking about 25 seconds. All indicator lights will illuminate steadily once preheating is complete.
2.2 Grinding Coffee Beans
The integrated grinder allows for fresh grinding. Adjust the grind coarseness using the dial on the bean hopper. Finer grinds are suitable for espresso, while coarser grinds are for other coffee types.

- Select the appropriate filter basket (single or double shot) and insert it into the portafilter.
- Place the portafilter under the grinder outlet.
- Press the 'Grind' button (coffee bean icon) to start grinding. The grinder will dispense fresh grounds into the portafilter. Press again to stop.
- Use the provided tamper to firmly press the coffee grounds in the portafilter, ensuring an even and level surface.

2.3 Brewing Espresso
The machine features pre-infusion technology to enhance flavor extraction.
- Insert the filled and tamped portafilter into the brewing head and turn it to the right until it is securely locked.
- Place your espresso cup(s) on the drip tray beneath the portafilter.
- Select either the 'Single Cup' or 'Double Cup' button to begin brewing. The pressure gauge will indicate the optimal brewing pressure (typically 9-12 bar).
- The machine will automatically stop brewing once the programmed volume is dispensed.

2.4 Adjusting Fluid Output
You can customize the volume of brewed coffee. The adjustable liquid output range is 0.7-13.5oz. The default volume for a single cup is 1.05-1.40oz, and for a double cup is 2.10-2.46oz.
- While in standby mode, long-press the desired 'Coffee Icon' button (single or double) for 5 seconds. The corresponding indicator will flash.
- The machine will start brewing. Press the 'Coffee Icon' button again when the desired volume is reached. The custom setting is now complete.

2.5 Milk Frothing
The adjustable steam wand provides precise control for frothing milk, ideal for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Fill the milk pitcher with cold milk.
- Turn the knob on the side of the machine to the 'Steam' position. The steam wand will preheat.
- Once steam is ready, immerse the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Turn the knob to activate steam. Move the pitcher to create a swirling motion, frothing the milk to your desired texture.
- Turn the knob back to the 'Off' position to stop steaming. Wipe the steam wand immediately with a damp cloth.
3. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.
3.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: The removable drip tray should be emptied and cleaned daily.
- Portafilter & Filter Baskets: After each use, remove residual coffee grounds and rinse thoroughly with water.
- Steam Wand: Immediately after frothing, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and release a short burst of steam to clear any milk residue.
