3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Gimbal

Before first use, fully charge the Smart X2 using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the gimbal's charging port and a compatible USB power source. The battery indicator on the OLED screen will show charging progress.

3.2 Mounting Your Smartphone

Extend the phone clip and securely place your smartphone in the holder. The phone clip can be extended within a range of 55mm-90mm, suitable for most phones. Ensure the phone is centered and balanced in the clip for optimal performance.

3.3 Bluetooth Connection

To connect your smartphone to the gimbal via Bluetooth:

1. Turn on the Smart X2 gimbal.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Search for available devices and select "SMART_X2" to pair.
4. The Bluetooth indicator on the gimbal's OLED screen will light up, confirming a successful connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button to turn the gimbal on or off.

4.2 Shutter Button Functions

• Single-click: Takes a photo or starts/stops video recording.
• Double-click: Switches between horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) shooting modes.
• Triple-click: Switches between front and rear cameras (requires AOCHUAN App).
• Long-press: Enables/disables smart tracking (requires AOCHUAN App).

4.3 Joystick Control

Use the joystick to precisely adjust your phone's shooting direction (up, down, left, right) for smooth camera movements.

4.4 Wheel Combination Key

• Single-click: Switches between Zoom and Focus modes.
• Zoom Mode: Rotate the wheel clockwise to zoom in, counter-clockwise to zoom out. (Default at power on, requires AOCHUAN App).
• Focus Mode: Rotate the wheel to switch between sharp and blurred focus (requires AOCHUAN App).
• Double-click: Activates 280° Auto Panorama mode.

• F (Full Follow Mode): The most versatile mode, suitable for daily shooting, overhead shooting, and vertical shooting.
• POV (Point of View Mode): Suitable for scenes with camera movement and transitions, handling shooting from multiple angles.
• DM (Inception Mode): Triple-click the M button to enter this mode, allowing for 180° rotated video.

4.6 Extension Rod Usage
