1. Introduction
The AVXANKTG EAPDX-63VAE-RGB is an advanced 3-in-1 protection device designed for Din Rail mounting. It provides comprehensive protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent conditions in electrical circuits. Featuring a clear RGB display, it shows real-time voltage (V), current (A), and accumulated power consumption (KWH). This device is adjustable, allowing users to set specific protection thresholds to safeguard connected equipment.
2. Safety Information
- Installation and maintenance should only be performed by qualified electricians.
- Ensure power is disconnected before installation or wiring to prevent electric shock.
- Verify correct wiring connections (Live, Neutral, Input, Output) as per the device markings.
- Do not operate the device beyond its specified voltage and current ratings.
- Keep the device away from moisture, dust, and corrosive environments.
3. Product Features
- 3-in-1 Protection: Safeguards against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent.
- Adjustable Thresholds: User-configurable settings for protection parameters.
- Real-time Display: RGB screen shows voltage (V), current (A), and power consumption (KWH).
- Din Rail Mountable: Easy installation in standard electrical distribution boxes.
- Automatic Reconnection: Recovers automatically after fault conditions clear.
4. Installation and Setup
The EAPDX-63VAE-RGB is designed for standard 35mm Din Rail mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Power Off: Ensure the main power supply to the circuit is completely disconnected.
- Mounting: Clip the device onto the Din Rail in your electrical distribution box.
- Wiring:
- Connect the incoming Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the 'IN' terminals at the top of the device.
- Connect the outgoing Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the 'OUT' terminals at the bottom of the device, leading to the load.
- Secure Connections: Tighten all terminal screws firmly to ensure good electrical contact.
- Power On: Restore power to the circuit. The device display should illuminate.

5. Operation
Once powered on, the device will display real-time electrical parameters. The RGB display cycles through Voltage (V), Current (A), and accumulated Kilowatt-hours (KWH).
5.1 Display Indicators
- V: Displays the current line voltage in Volts.
- A: Displays the current load current in Amperes.
- KWH: Displays the accumulated power consumption in Kilowatt-hours.
5.2 Button Functions
- ▲ (Up Button): Used to increase values during setting mode.
- ▼ (Down Button): Used to decrease values during setting mode.
- SET Button: Enters/exits setting mode and confirms selections.
- ⏻ (Power Button): Toggles the output power on/off manually.
6. Settings and Configuration
To adjust the protection parameters, follow these steps:
- Enter Setting Mode: Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the display changes, indicating entry into setting mode.
- Navigate Parameters: Use the SET button to cycle through different adjustable parameters (e.g., Overvoltage, Undervoltage, Overcurrent).
- Adjust Values: Use the ▲ (Up) and ▼ (Down) buttons to change the value of the currently selected parameter.
- Confirm and Save: After adjusting a parameter, press the SET button again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter. To exit setting mode and save all changes, press and hold the SET button again for 3-5 seconds, or wait for the device to automatically exit after a period of inactivity.
6.1 Adjustable Parameters
- Overvoltage Protection (OVP): Set the maximum voltage threshold. If the voltage exceeds this value, the device will trip. (Range: 230-300V)
- Undervoltage Protection (UVP): Set the minimum voltage threshold. If the voltage drops below this value, the device will trip. (Range: 80-210V)
- Overcurrent Protection (OCP): Set the maximum current threshold. If the current exceeds this value, the device will trip. (Range: 1-63A)
- KWH Reset: In setting mode, there may be an option to reset the accumulated KWH reading to zero. Consult the display prompts.
7. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the device for any visible damage or loose connections.
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check input power supply and wiring connections. Ensure the main circuit breaker is on.
- Device trips frequently: Review your set protection thresholds (OVP, UVP, OCP). They might be set too close to normal operating conditions. Check for actual overvoltage, undervoltage, or overcurrent conditions in your circuit.
- Incorrect readings: Verify wiring connections are secure. Ensure the device is correctly rated for your application.
- Display not working: Check power supply. If power is present and display is off, the device may be faulty.
