4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Package Contents
Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present:

4.2 Battery Installation
The lock requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

- Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, observing the polarity markings (+/-).

4.3 Door Handing Adjustment (if necessary)

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Tuya Smart Application Setup
- Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your mobile device's app store.
- Register or log in to your Tuya Smart account.
- Add the PNI SafeHome PTY6526 lock as a new device by following the in-app instructions. This typically involves putting the lock into pairing mode.
- Once paired, you can manage users, view access logs, and unlock the door remotely via the app.
5.2 Fingerprint Access
- Registration: Use the Tuya Smart app or the lock's master settings to register new fingerprints. Follow the prompts to place your finger on the sensor multiple times from different angles.
- Unlocking: Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
5.3 Code Access

- Setting Codes: Use the Tuya Smart app or the lock's master settings to create and manage user passcodes.
- Unlocking: Enter your registered passcode on the touch keypad, then press the '#' key to confirm. The lock will unlock if the code is correct.
5.4 RFID Tag Access
- Registration: Use the Tuya Smart app or the lock's master settings to register new RFID tags. Present the tag to the designated card reader area on the lock.
- Unlocking: Present a registered RFID tag to the card reader area on the lock. The lock will unlock if the tag is recognized.
5.5 Mechanical Key Access (Emergency)
In case of battery depletion or electronic malfunction, the lock can be opened using the provided mechanical keys.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
