Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibrations. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter cable to the DC IN port on the back of the turntable.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

3. Dust Cover Installation

Gently attach the dust cover to the hinges at the back of the turntable. The dust cover protects the platter and stylus when the unit is not in use.

4. Stylus Protection Removal

Before first use, carefully remove the clear plastic stylus protector from the cartridge. Be gentle to avoid damaging the stylus.

Operating Instructions

1. Playing a Vinyl Record

  1. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
  2. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch, usually located near the tonearm base.
  3. Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
  4. Position the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
  5. Slowly lower the tonearm using the cueing lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
  6. To stop playback, lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and return it to the tonearm rest.

2. Bluetooth Connectivity

The turntable features Bluetooth 5.4 for receiving audio from compatible devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets).

  1. Ensure the turntable is powered on.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your external device.
  3. Select "BIGBEN TURNTABLE" (or similar name) from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your external device.
  4. Once paired, audio from your external device will play through the turntable's speakers or connected output.

Note: The Bluetooth function on this model is for receiving audio only (input). It does not transmit audio to external Bluetooth speakers.

3. Light Effects Control

4. AUX Input

Connect external audio sources (e.g., MP3 players) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Select the AUX input mode on the turntable to play audio from the connected device.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Turntable

  • Wipe the dust cover and cabinet with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • For the platter, use a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

2. Stylus Care

  • The stylus is delicate. Handle with extreme care.
  • Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
