Dimensions

Diagram showing the dimensions of the WPTGODGB TVPS1-63B protector.

The image above illustrates the physical dimensions of the TVPS1-63B protector. The front view shows a width of 35mm and a height of 85mm. The side view indicates a depth of 48mm and a total length (including the DIN rail clip) of 65mm, with a main body height of 45mm.

4. Setup

4.1. Installation

  1. Ensure all power to the circuit is disconnected before installation.
  2. Mount the TVPS1-63B protector onto a standard 35mm DIN rail in your electrical panel.
  3. Ensure the device is securely fastened and stable.

4.2. Wiring

  1. Connect the incoming live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the 'IN' terminals at the top of the device.
  2. Connect the outgoing live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the 'OUT' terminals at the bottom of the device, leading to the protected load.
  3. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and potential hazards.

4.3. Initial Power-On

After wiring, restore power to the circuit. The device will undergo a power-on delay (default 10 seconds, adjustable from 1s to 500s). During this time, the display may show a countdown or specific indicators. The device will begin normal operation and display voltage/current readings once the delay is complete and the red light goes out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Display Overview

The device features a dual digital display: the upper display shows the current voltage (V), and the lower display shows the current amperage (A). Indicator lights on the right side show the status of overvoltage (>V), undervoltage (<V), and overcurrent (>A) protection, as well as a power indicator.

5.2. Setting Parameters

To adjust protection parameters, use the 'SET', '▲' (Up), and '▼' (Down) buttons located on the front panel.

  1. Press the SET button to enter the parameter setting mode. The first adjustable parameter will flash.
  2. Use the and buttons to adjust the value of the flashing parameter.
  3. Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all desired parameters.
  5. After setting the last parameter, the device will automatically save the settings and exit the setting mode if no button is pressed for a few seconds, or you can press SET repeatedly to cycle through and exit.

Adjustable Parameters Include:

  • Overvoltage Protection Value (Default: 270V)
  • Overvoltage Recovery Voltage (Default: 250V)
  • Overvoltage Protection Action Time (Default: 0.5s)
  • Overvoltage Recovery Delay Time (Default: 30s)
  • Undervoltage Protection Value (Default: 170V)
  • Undervoltage Recovery Voltage (Default: 190V)
  • Undervoltage Protection Action Time (Default: 0.5s)
  • Undervoltage Recovery Delay Time (Default: 30s)
  • Overcurrent Adjustment Range (Default: 40A for 63A model)
  • Overcurrent Action Time (Default: 0.5s)
  • Overcurrent Recovery Delay Time (Default: 30s)

6. Maintenance

The WPTGODGB TVPS1-63B protector requires minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect the device for any visible damage or loose connections. Ensure the ventilation slots (if any) are clear of dust and debris. Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself; refer to qualified personnel for any issues beyond basic inspection.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/No Power: Check the main power supply and wiring connections. Ensure the device is receiving 230VAC.
  • Device Not Turning On After Power Restore: Verify the power-on delay setting. The device will wait for the set delay before activating.
  • Frequent Tripping: Check if the voltage or current in your circuit is consistently exceeding or falling below the set protection parameters. Adjust parameters if necessary, or investigate the cause of the unstable power supply/overload.
  • Incorrect Readings: Ensure proper wiring. If readings appear consistently inaccurate, contact support.
  • Device Not Recovering: Check the recovery delay settings for overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent. Ensure the fault condition has cleared.

For issues not listed here, or if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the problem, please contact customer support.
