6. Troubleshooting

If your retro game stick is not working as expected, please follow these steps to diagnose and resolve common issues:

  1. Check Gamepad Switch: Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the gamepad is in the 'ON' position.
  2. Verify Gamepad Indicator Lights: Check if the gamepad lights up. Player 1's controller should show a red light, and Player 2's controller should show a green light.
  3. Confirm Wireless Receiver Connection: Make sure the Bluetooth wireless receiver is securely plugged into the game stick.
  4. Check Game Stick Light: Verify if the game stick itself lights up blue.
  5. Correct Connection Indication: If the connection is correct, the main gamepad (Player 1) will display a red light, and the auxiliary gamepad (Player 2) will display a green light.
  6. Flashing Lights (Low Battery/Connection Issue): If the gamepad indicator lights flash simultaneously, this indicates either a low battery or an unsuccessful wireless receiver connection.
    • If the battery is low, replace the batteries in the gamepad.
    • If the Bluetooth wireless receiver connection is unsuccessful (the retro stick may not be reading it), unplug the wireless receiver while the console is turned off, then plug it back in.
