Operating Instructions
XInput and DInput Modes
The HORIPAD Turbo SL supports both XInput and DInput modes for maximum compatibility with PC games. XInput is the modern standard for Windows games, while DInput is an older, legacy standard.
- XInput Mode: Identifies the controller as an Xbox controller. Recommended for most modern games.
- DInput Mode: Identifies the controller as a generic HORI PC controller. Useful for older games or specific applications.
To switch between modes, use the dedicated switch located on the back of the controller.

Programmable Back Buttons
The gamepad features programmable back buttons (FL and FR) for custom button layouts. These can be assigned to replicate other buttons on the controller.

Profile Management
Save up to five profiles of button settings and switch between them on the fly using the dedicated Profile Button. This allows for quick adaptation to different games or play styles.

Turbo and Turbo Hold Functions
Assign Turbo and Turbo Hold settings to any action button for rapid-fire or auto rapid-fire functionality. This can reduce finger fatigue during repetitive actions.

Headset Jack and Mute Button
The gamepad includes a headset jack for audio and microphone input, along with an onboard mute button for convenient in-game chat control.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the gamepad. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the gamepad in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the USB cable. Do not pull the cable to disconnect the gamepad; always grasp the plug.
