Installation Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to replace your lawnmower blade.

1. Safety First: Ensure the lawnmower is turned off, the spark plug wire is disconnected, or the battery pack is removed to prevent accidental starting.
2. Secure the Mower: Tilt the lawnmower onto its side, ensuring the carburetor (if gasoline) or air filter (if electric) is facing upwards to prevent fuel or oil leakage. Block the wheels to prevent movement.
3. Protect Hands: Wear heavy-duty work gloves to protect your hands from the sharp blade edges.
4. Remove Old Blade: Use a wrench to loosen the blade bolt(s) holding the old blade in place. You may need a block of wood to brace the blade against the mower deck to prevent it from turning while loosening the bolt. Remove the bolt(s), washers, and the old blade.
5. Clean Mounting Area: Clean any grass clippings or debris from the blade mounting area on the mower deck.
6. Install New Blade: Position the new perfektGarten blade onto the blade adapter. Ensure the blade is oriented correctly (the cutting edges should face outwards and slightly upwards towards the mower deck). The bent ends of the blade are designed to create lift for grass collection.
7. Secure New Blade: Reinstall the washers and blade bolt(s). Tighten the blade bolt(s) securely using the wrench. Refer to your lawnmower's original manual for specific torque specifications if available. Ensure the blade is centered and spins freely without wobbling.
8. Final Check: Return the lawnmower to its upright position. Reconnect the spark plug wire or reinsert the battery pack.

Operating Guidelines
