2. Safety Information
- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before any installation, maintenance, or cleaning.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the product. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Use only the provided power adapter. Using an incompatible adapter may damage the product and void the warranty.
- Ensure the installation surface is stable and can support the weight of the lights.
- Keep children and pets away from the product during installation and operation.
- The lights are IP67 waterproof; however, ensure all connections are secure and sealed to maintain water resistance. The power adapter is rainproof.

5. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your UPONELED Eaves Lights:
- Plan Installation: Determine the desired placement for your lights. It is recommended to install the lights 2-4 inches away from the wall surface for optimal lighting effect.
- Test Lights: Before permanent installation, connect the light string to the power supply and plug it in to ensure all lights are functioning correctly.
- Clean Surface: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth. For temporary fixes or smooth surfaces like glass or metal, the adhesive tape can be used. For long-term permanent fixing or irregular walls, screws are recommended.
- Attach Lights:
- Using Adhesive Tape: Peel off the adhesive backing from each light. Firmly stick the light to the wall, pressing for over 5 seconds to ensure a secure connection.
- Using Screws: Drill screw holes according to the installation position on the wall. Fix each light with the provided screws through the designated holes.

- Connect Power: Connect the string lights to the power adapter via the waterproof connector. Ensure the connection is tight to maintain water resistance.
- Power On: Plug the power supply into a suitable outdoor electrical outlet. The lights should turn on automatically.
Installation Notes:
- The UPONELED permanent outdoor lights cannot be cut. Attempting to cut the lights will damage them and void the warranty.
- Ensure the 7.54 ft power cable is routed safely and securely.
6. Operating Instructions
Your UPONELED Eaves Lights can be controlled via the included remote control or the Rino Smart app.
6.1 Remote Control Operation
The remote control allows for basic functions such as turning lights on/off, changing colors, adjusting brightness, and selecting modes.
- ON/OFF: Press the ON or OFF buttons to power the lights.
- Color Selection: Use the dedicated color buttons (R, G, B, Y, W) or COLOR+/- buttons to adjust the light color.
- Brightness: Use the brightness adjustment buttons to increase or decrease light intensity.
- Modes: Cycle through various lighting modes (e.g., flash, strobe, fade) using the MODE buttons.
- Speed: Adjust the speed of dynamic modes using the SPEED+/- buttons.
- Music Sync: Use the music mode buttons to sync lights to music.
- Timer: Set timed switches for 1, 2, or 3 hours.
Special Remote Instructions:
- If you press the 🔒 (lock) button once, 3 seconds later, other buttons are locked except ON or OFF. Then press 🔒 again, all buttons unlocked.
- If you press 🔒 once and press OFF to turn off the eaves lights directly. Next time when you press ON, you should press 🔒, after that other buttons can work.
6.2 App Control (Rino Smart App)
For advanced features and customization, download the Rino Smart app. The app allows you to:
- Choose from 16 million colors.
- Access 212 preset modes.
- Create custom DIY scenes.
- Sync lights to music.
- Schedule on/off times.
- Adjust customized brightness.
- Utilize voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant.

App Pairing Instructions:
- Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4G network required).
- Scan the QR code in the user manual or search for "Rino Smart" in your app store to download the app.
- Open the app and register your account. Auto-skip to My Home page.
- Power on the eaves lights. Long press the ON button of the Remote Controller until the lights are flashing, indicating pairing mode.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add the device and connect to your Wi-Fi network.
7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your UPONELED Eaves Lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the lights or their waterproof coating.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the lights, cables, and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Address any issues promptly.
- Weather Protection: While the lights are IP67 waterproof and designed for outdoor use, ensuring they are installed under eaves or in protected areas can further extend their lifespan, especially in extreme weather conditions.
- Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, ensure they are clean, dry, and coiled neatly to prevent tangling or damage. Store in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your UPONELED Eaves Lights, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Lights Not Turning On:
- Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Ensure the connection between the light string and the power adapter is secure.
- Verify the remote control battery is functional and correctly inserted.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light receiver.
- Check the remote control battery and replace if necessary (1 C battery required).
- Refer to the special remote instructions in Section 6.1 regarding the lock button.
- App Connectivity Issues:
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4G) are enabled.
- Verify your Wi-Fi network is stable and within range.
- Restart the app and attempt to re-pair the device.
- If you have multiple LED Eave Lights, ensure each 1pcs Power supply matches 1pieces of LED Eave Lights. If 1pcs Power supply connect two or more LED Eave Lights, then they won't work.
- Lights Default to Red (or other unexpected color) on Power Up:
- Some units may have a default startup sequence. Use the remote or app to select your desired color/mode after power-up.
- If the lights consistently revert to an undesired setting, ensure the remote's lock function is not active (see Section 6.1).
