Setup

1. Battery Installation: The wastebasket requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment located on the underside of the lid and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
2. Attaching the Legs: If your model includes wooden legs, gently screw them into the designated slots on the bottom of the trash can base until secure.
3. Inserting the Trash Bag:

   Place a trash bag inside the wastebasket. Utilize the concealed press ring design to secure the bag. First, place the trash bag into the main compartment. Then, fit the black press ring over the top edge of the trash bag, pushing it down to hold the bag securely in place and hide any excess bag material for a clean appearance. Finally, place the lid back onto the base.

Operating Instructions

• Automatic Lid Opening: The Pukomc Smart Sensor Wastebasket features an infrared motion sensor. Simply wave your hand or bring your knee within the sensor's range (approximately 6-10 inches above the sensor) to activate the lid. The lid will open automatically.
• Automatic Lid Closure: The lid will remain open as long as the sensor detects movement. After 5 seconds of no detected movement, the lid will close automatically. This ensures hygiene and helps contain odors.

Maintenance
