3. Installation Guide
Professional installation is recommended. If installing yourself, ensure you have adequate assistance as glass panels are heavy.
3.1 Pre-Installation Steps
- Measure and Verify: Confirm your shower opening width is between 44-48 inches and height is 74 inches. Ensure the threshold depth is at least 4 inches.
- Prepare the Area: Clear the shower area. Ensure walls are clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Gather Tools: You will need a drill, level, measuring tape, caulk gun, waterproof silicone, and safety glasses.
3.2 Mounting the Top Track and Frame
The top track provides stability and supports the sliding mechanism.

- Position the Top Track: Mark the desired height for the top track, ensuring it is level.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes into the wall studs or use appropriate anchors for secure mounting.
- Secure the Top Track: Attach the stainless steel top track firmly to the wall using the provided hardware.
- Install Side Frames: Attach the vertical side frames to the walls, ensuring they are plumb and align with the top track.
3.3 Installing Glass Panels and Handles
Carefully lift and position the tempered glass panels.

- Hang Glass Panels: Carefully lift each glass panel and engage the rollers with the top track. Ensure they slide smoothly.
- Attach Handles: Secure the 18-inch pull handles to the glass panels.
- Adjust Anti-Collision Devices: Position the anti-collision braking devices to ensure soft closing and prevent impact.
3.4 Sealing and Finishing
Proper sealing is crucial to prevent water leakage.

- Apply Water Sealing Strips: Install the provided water sealing strips along the edges of the glass panels and where they meet the frame.
- Caulk: Apply a bead of waterproof silicone sealant along the exterior base and vertical seams of the shower door frame. Allow to cure completely (typically 24 hours) before use.
4. Operation
The MoSweet Milano shower door features a bypass double sliding design for flexible entry and exit.

- To open, gently push either glass panel along the top track.
- The anti-collision braking system will slow the door's movement as it approaches the frame, ensuring a soft and quiet close.
- The 18-inch pull handles provide a comfortable grip for sliding the doors.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your shower door.
5.1 Cleaning the Glass

- For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth or squeegee after each shower to remove water droplets.

5.2 Cleaning the Frame and Hardware
- Wipe down the stainless steel frame and hardware with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that can damage the matte black finish.
- Periodically check screws and connections for tightness and tighten if necessary.
5.3 Maintaining Sliding Mechanism
- Keep the top track free of debris and soap scum to ensure smooth operation.
- If the doors become stiff, clean the track and rollers thoroughly. Avoid applying oil or grease unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
