3. Setup and Installation

3.3 Installing the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the espresso machine (Model CM5020-UL) is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Locate the water tank compartment at the back of the espresso machine.
  3. Align the replacement water tank with the compartment and gently slide it into place until it is securely seated. Ensure there are no gaps and the tank is stable.

4. Operation

4.1 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Remove the water tank from the espresso machine by pulling it upwards.
  2. Open the lid of the water tank.
  3. Fill the tank with fresh, cold, filtered water up to the 'MAX' line indicated on the tank. Do not overfill.
  4. Close the lid securely and place the water tank back into the espresso machine.

Alternatively, you may fill the water tank while it is still attached to the machine by carefully pouring water into the top opening, ensuring not to spill any water into the machine's internal components.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Regular Cleaning

To ensure optimal performance and hygiene, clean the water tank regularly. The humanized design allows for easy disassembly.
