4.2 Sensor Installation

The external sensors are designed for quick and easy installation without requiring tire removal.

  1. Unscrew the original valve cap from the tire valve.
  2. Screw the anti-theft nut clockwise onto the tire valve stem, pushing it down to the base of the valve.
  3. Screw the corresponding sensor (marked FL, FR, RL, RR for Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right) clockwise onto the tire valve stem.
  4. Using the provided wrench, tighten the anti-theft nut counter-clockwise against the sensor to secure it. This prevents accidental loosening and theft.
  5. Check for any air leaks after installation.

6.2 Sensor Battery Replacement

The external sensors use CR1632 button cell batteries. When a sensor's battery is low, the monitor will display a low battery alarm. To replace the battery:

  1. Unscrew the sensor from the tire valve.
  2. Carefully open the sensor casing.
  3. Remove the old CR1632 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the sensor casing securely and re-install it on the tire valve following the installation steps.

6.3 Cleaning

Wipe the monitor and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Monitor Not Turning On:
    - Ensure the monitor is charged. Connect it to a USB power source.
    - Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to manually turn it on.
    - Check if the vehicle is moving; the auto on/off feature relies on vibration.
  • Sensor Data Not Displaying/Inaccurate Readings:
    - Verify that all sensors are correctly installed and tightened.
    - Ensure the sensors are paired with the monitor. Refer to the pairing instructions in the full manual if re-pairing is needed.
    - Check sensor battery levels. Replace if low.
    - Drive the vehicle for a few minutes to allow sensors to transmit data.
  • Alarm Sounds Frequently:
    - Check tire pressure and temperature. Inflate/deflate tires to recommended levels.
    - Review your custom alarm thresholds. Adjust if they are set too sensitively.
  • Voice Prompt Not Working:
    - Ensure the volume is not muted or set too low.
