Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation and Charging

The camcorder comes with a built-in NP-40 3.7V 1500mAh lithium battery. Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the NP-40 battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  5. Connect the camcorder to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Charging is complete when the indicator light turns off or changes color (refer to the camcorder's screen for battery status).

2. Memory Card Installation (Not Included)

The camcorder supports a storage card up to 128GB. A memory card is required for recording videos and capturing photos.

  1. Locate the memory card slot, typically near the battery compartment or on the side.
  2. Insert the memory card into the slot with the contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram near the slot).
  3. Gently push until it clicks into place.

3. Attaching to a Tripod (Optional)

For more stable photo and video shooting, the camcorder features a standard 1/4 inch threaded connector on its bottom, allowing attachment to a tripod.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, open the LCD screen. The camcorder will automatically turn on.
  • To power off, close the LCD screen. The camcorder will automatically turn off.
  • Alternatively, press and hold the power button (usually located near the LCD screen hinge) for a few seconds.

2. Basic Recording and Photo Capture

The camcorder supports 2.7K video resolution and 50MP image resolution.

  • Video Recording: Press the "Record" button (often marked with a red dot) to start recording. Press it again to stop.
  • Photo Capture: Switch to photo mode (if applicable, usually a dedicated button or menu option), then press the "Shutter" button to take a picture.

3. Advanced Functions

  • Webcam Function: Connect the camcorder to your computer via the USB cable. It can be used as a webcam for video calls or live streaming.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camcorder body. For the lens and screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
