Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your LFSYS Fruit Fly Trap:
- Prepare the Adhesive Board: Carefully peel off the protective layers from both sides of a new adhesive board. This exposes the sticky surfaces.
- Insert the Board: Align the non-sticky tab of the prepared adhesive board with the slot on the top of the trap device. Gently slide the board into the device until it is securely in place.
- Plug In the Device: Plug the LFSYS trap device into a standard electrical outlet. The UV light will automatically turn on.
- Optimal Placement: For best results, place the trap in a dark area, away from competing light sources. Insects are more attracted to the UV light in low-light conditions. Install one unit per room for effective coverage.

Operation
The LFSYS Fruit Fly Trap operates continuously once plugged in. The dual UV light wavelengths (365nm and 395nm) attract various flying insects by mimicking natural light cues. Insects are drawn to the light and become stuck on the transparent adhesive board.
Power Button
The device features a power button on the front. Press the button to turn the UV light on or off as needed. It is recommended to keep the light on for continuous protection, especially during periods of high insect activity or in darker environments.

Maintenance and Refill
Regularly check the adhesive board for captured insects. When the board is full or its stickiness diminishes, it's time to replace it.
- Turn Off Device: Before handling, press the power button to turn off the UV light and unplug the device from the outlet.
- Remove Used Board: Gently pull the used adhesive board out from the top slot of the device.
- Dispose: Dispose of the used sticky board responsibly in a trash bin.
- Insert New Board: Follow steps 1 and 2 from the "Setup Guide" to insert a fresh adhesive board.
- Plug In and Turn On: Plug the device back into the outlet and press the power button to resume operation.

Troubleshooting
Device Not Attracting Insects
- Check Placement: Ensure the trap is placed in a dark area, away from competing light sources. Insects are more attracted to the UV light in low-light conditions.

Adhesive Board Not Sticky

- Environmental Factors: Extreme temperatures or humidity can affect adhesive performance. Ensure the device is used in suitable indoor conditions.
- Replace Board: Use a new adhesive board from the refill pack.
