Setup and Initial Connection

First-Time Pairing with PS-4 Console

  1. Ensure your PS-4 console is powered on.
  2. Connect the Shiptree Wireless Controller to your PS-4 console using the provided USB charging cable.
  3. Press the "PS" button (Home button) on the controller. The light bar on the controller will flash and then glow steadily, indicating successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable to use the controller wirelessly. The controller will automatically connect via Bluetooth for future use.

Charging the Controller

The controller has a built-in 800mAh rechargeable battery.

  • Connect the controller to your PS-4 console or a standard USB charger (5V/1A) using the provided USB cable.
  • The light bar will slowly flash orange during charging.
  • The light bar will turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
  • A fully charged controller provides approximately 8-10 hours of continuous gameplay.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

The Shiptree Wireless Controller features standard PS-4 button layouts, including:

  • Directional Pad (D-Pad): For directional input.
  • Action Buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square): For in-game actions.
  • Left and Right Analog Sticks: For precise movement and camera control.
  • L1/R1 and L2/R2 Buttons: Shoulder and trigger buttons.

Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, automatic button presses, which can be useful in certain games.

  • To activate Turbo: Press and hold the Turbo button (located below the touchpad) and then press the desired action button (e.g., X, O, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2). The button will now rapidly repeat its input when held down.
  • To deactivate Turbo: Repeat the same process (hold Turbo button and press the action button again).

Macro Programming (Assignable Advanced Buttons)

The controller features two programmable buttons on the back (often referred to as L3/R3 or paddle buttons). These can be assigned to perform complex sequences or frequently used button combinations, giving you an edge in gameplay. Up to 12 buttons can be freely combined for macro programming.
