1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the ONBRILL 60" Kitchen Island. 2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before assembly and use.

  • Be cautious during assembly to avoid pinch points.
  • Use appropriate tools as instructed.
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 220 lbs (100 kg).
  • Exercise caution when moving the island on uneven surfaces to prevent tipping.
  • Do not lean heavily on the island, especially when wheels are unlocked, as this may cause it to topple.

Assembly Tips:

  • Tools: While basic tools are included, a long flat-head screwdriver for tightening lock bolts and a longer Allen wrench with a handle for better grip are recommended.
  • Part Identification: Some parts may be mislabeled or packaged together. Use the provided diagrams in the instruction manual as the primary guide for part numbers.
  • Organization: Lay out and label all parts on a large, flat surface in alphabetical or numerical order before beginning.
  • Support: Use pieces of styrofoam from the packaging to prop up parts during installation, especially when attaching components that require elevation from the floor.
  • Power Tools: If using a drill, set the torque to a low setting to prevent stripping screws, as the material is engineered wood.
  • Teamwork: Assembly may be easier with two people, particularly for flipping the unit or attaching larger sections.

4. Operating Instructions

5. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your ONBRILL kitchen island.

  • Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the engineered wood finish.
  • Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the wood.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the countertop and shelves to prevent stress on the structure. Do not exceed the 220 lbs maximum weight recommendation.
  • Hardware: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners to ensure the island remains stable.

6. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • Difficulty during assembly: Double-check part numbers against the manual's diagrams. Ensure all hardware is correctly oriented. Refer to assembly tips in Section 3.
  • Island feels unstable: Ensure all four lockable casters are engaged. Verify that all assembly hardware is securely tightened. Avoid leaning on the island, especially when moving.
  • Drawers or doors not closing smoothly: Check hinges and drawer slides for proper alignment and ensure no obstructions are present. Adjust as needed.
  • Paper towel holder issues: The paper towel holder is designed for standard rolls. If difficulty is experienced, ensure the roll is correctly seated on the dowel.
