5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. For hard-to-reach areas, especially within the skeletal frame, a can of compressed air can be used to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
5.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the mouse is turned off to conserve battery life.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
Ensure the mouse is charged. Check the connectivity switch on the underside of the mouse to confirm it's set to the correct mode (Wired, 2.4G, or BT) for your connection type. For 2.4G wireless, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired.
- RGB lighting not changing/stuck:
If the RGB lighting is not responding to changes made in the software, try restarting your computer. Ensure the GravaStar software is up to date. Disconnect and reconnect the mouse, or toggle its power switch off and on.
- Lag or intermittent connection:
Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver (for 2.4GHz) or your Bluetooth device. Ensure there are no major obstructions or sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects) between the mouse and receiver/device. Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
- Buttons or scroll wheel not working:
Check if the buttons are properly configured in the GravaStar software. If the issue persists, try connecting the mouse to a different computer to rule out software or driver conflicts on your primary system.
