To prevent injury or damage, always observe the following safety precautions:
- Read and understand all instructions before operating the grinder.
- Keep hands, hair, and clothing clear of moving parts during operation.
- Ensure the lid is securely fastened and locked before starting the machine. The grinder is equipped with safety induction switches that prevent operation if the lid is not properly closed.
- Do not operate the grinder with wet hands or in wet conditions.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or before performing any maintenance.
- If the machine stops unexpectedly, the overload protector may have activated. Allow the unit to cool down before attempting to restart.
- Use only dry materials for grinding. Do not process wet, fresh, oily, or sticky substances, as this can damage the machine and pose a safety risk.

The VEVOR grain mill grinder features a safety timer for controlled operation and an open-cover-stop mechanism to prevent operation when the lid is not securely closed, enhancing user safety.

- Stainless Steel Construction: Food-grade stainless steel for durability and hygiene.
- Safety Mechanisms: Buckle structure for secure sealing, open-cover-stop function, and overload protector.
- Triple Blade System: Features a crushing blade, horn blade, and powder removal blade for superfine milling.
4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the grinder on a stable, dry, and level surface to ensure proper operation and prevent vibration.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the grinder and then to a suitable power outlet (110V).
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe down the grinding bin and blades with a dry cloth or brush to remove any manufacturing residues. Do not use water for cleaning the grinding tank.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Material Preparation
- Ensure all materials to be ground are completely dry.
- The grinder is suitable for dry grains (soy, corn, barley, wheat, oats, rye, peas, coffee beans), spices (fennel, pepper, cinnamon, rosemary), and other dry, non-oily materials.
- Do not use for wet, fresh, oily, or sticky materials.
5.2 Loading and Grinding
- Load Material: Open the lid and carefully pour the dry material into the grinding bin. Ensure the material covers the long blade, but do not fill more than 2/3 of the jar capacity. For optimal results, aim for 1/2 of the jar capacity.
- Secure Lid: Close the lid firmly and ensure all buckles are securely fastened. The grinder will not operate if the lid is not properly closed.
- Set Timer: Use the timer knob to set the desired grinding duration. Grinding times vary based on material and desired fineness (e.g., 30 seconds for fine powder).
- Start Grinding: Press the start button. For more uniform and finer powders, you can gently swing the grinder body 270° during operation.
- Operation Cycle: The maximum continuous operation time is 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of operation, allow the machine to rest for 10 minutes to prevent overheating.

5.3 Pouring
Once grinding is complete, the 270° rotating design allows you to easily tilt the grinding bin to pour out the finely ground powder without needing to lift the entire unit.

The 270-degree rotating design of the VEVOR grain mill grinder, allowing for effortless pouring of ground materials into a bowl.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your grinder:
- Always unplug the grinder from the power source before cleaning.
- Do not clean the grinding tank with water directly. Water can damage the motor and electrical components.
- Use a dry rag or the provided brush to clean the grinding bin and blades.
- For any coarse particles remaining after grinding, you can sieve them out and re-grind for finer results.
- Store the grinder in a dry place when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting
Grinder Does Not Turn On:
- Lid Not Secured: Ensure the lid is fully buckled and rotated to the end. The grinder has two induction switches in the buckles that must be triggered for operation. Make sure there is no gap among the rod, screw, and buckle.
- Power Connection: Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into both the grinder and a functional power outlet.
- Timer Setting: Check if the timer knob is set to a grinding duration. The machine will not start if the timer is at 'OFF' or not set.
Machine Stops During Operation:
- Overload Protection: The grinder is equipped with an overload protector. If the motor is overloaded (e.g., too much material, or grinding unsuitable materials), it will automatically shut off. Allow the machine to cool down for 10-15 minutes before attempting to restart. Reduce the amount of material or ensure it is dry.
- Continuous Operation Limit: Remember the 5-minute continuous operation limit. If this limit is exceeded, the machine may stop to prevent damage. Allow for a 10-minute rest period.
