Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Upperizon portable monitor, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Signal / Black Screen:
    • Ensure all cables (USB-C or HDMI) are securely connected to both the monitor and your source device.
    • Verify that your source device is powered on and outputting a video signal.
    • If using USB-C, confirm your device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt).
    • Try a different cable to rule out a faulty cable.
    • Check the OSD menu to ensure the correct input source is selected.
  • Screen Flickering / Dim Display:
    • This is often caused by insufficient power. Connect the provided power adapter to the monitor's USB-C port and a power outlet.
    • Ensure you are using the original power adapter.
    • If connected via USB-C, ensure your device can supply enough power. Some laptops may require external power for the monitor even with a full-featured USB-C port.
    • Manually increase the brightness via the OSD menu.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the monitor's volume settings in the OSD menu.
    • Verify your source device's audio output settings.
    • If using external speakers/headphones, ensure they are properly connected to the monitor's audio jack.
  • Image Distortion / Incorrect Resolution:
    • Ensure your source device's display settings are configured to 1920x1080 resolution.
    • Update your graphics drivers on your computer.
