Setup Guide

Setting up your ASUS ZenWiFi BD4 mesh system is a straightforward process. Follow these steps for optimal performance.

Step 1: Placement

Place your primary ZenWiFi BD4 unit near your modem or internet service provider's (ISP) device. Position the other two units strategically throughout your home to maximize coverage, ensuring they are within range of each other and the primary unit.

Step 2: Connect the Primary Unit

  1. Connect one end of the RJ45 Ethernet cable to the WAN/LAN port (Port 1, typically) on the primary ZenWiFi BD4 unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your modem's LAN port.
  3. Plug the power adapter into the DCIN port of the primary unit and then into a power outlet.

Step 3: Power On and Configure

  1. Press the power button on the primary unit. Wait for the LED indicator to show a stable white or blue light, indicating it's ready.
