4. Specifications

5. Setup and Installation

Before beginning, ensure the furniture is unplugged from the wall outlet. It is recommended to have assistance when turning over or moving heavy furniture.

5.1. Identify Your Existing Motor

Locate the label on your existing motor to confirm it is a Mulin ML16, ML16-246, or ML16-246A model. This replacement kit is compatible with these specific models.

5.2. Disconnect Old Components

1. Carefully disconnect the 2-pin flat round connector from the power transformer.

5.4. Power Connection

Plug the AC power cord into the power supply unit, then plug the power supply into a standard wall outlet. The system is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

The Fruhdi ML16-246 motor actuator is controlled via the provided 5-pin hand control unit. The hand control typically features two buttons for extending and retracting the actuator, which corresponds to reclining/lifting the furniture.

• Extend Button: Press and hold this button to extend the actuator, moving the furniture into a reclined or lifted position.
• Retract Button: Press and hold this button to retract the actuator, returning the furniture to its upright or lowered position.

Release the button at any point to stop the movement. Avoid continuous operation for extended periods to prevent overheating.
