4. Setup and Installation

The GIFEHU Q10 is designed for easy installation without modifying your vehicle's existing console.

4.1 Mounting the Device

1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable flat surface on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.
2. Attach the Bracket: Secure the chosen mounting bracket (suction cup or adhesive base) to the dashboard or windshield. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
3. Mount the Screen: Attach the GIFEHU Q10 screen to the mounting bracket. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing.

4.2 Power Connection

1. Insert the car USB charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting to Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
2. On the GIFEHU Q10 screen, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto icon and select it.
3. On your smartphone, search for and connect to the device's Bluetooth name (usually "GIFEHU Q10" or similar).
4. Follow any on-screen prompts on both the device and your phone to complete the connection. Once connected, CarPlay or Android Auto will launch automatically.

5.2 Wireless Mirror Link

To mirror your smartphone's screen:

1. Select the "Mirror Link" option on the GIFEHU Q10 screen.
2. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to connect your iOS or Android device via Wi-Fi. This typically involves connecting to a specific Wi-Fi network broadcast by the GIFEHU Q10 and then initiating screen mirroring from your phone's settings.

5.3 Audio Output Modes

The GIFEHU Q10 offers several ways to output audio:

• Built-in Speakers: Audio will play directly from the device's integrated speakers.
• Bluetooth: Connect the GIFEHU Q10 to your car's existing Bluetooth system for audio output.
• FM Transmitter: Tune your car's FM radio to a specific frequency set on the GIFEHU Q10 to transmit audio wirelessly.
• AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the GIFEHU Q10's AUX port to your car's AUX input for a wired audio connection.
